Well finally the day came and the moving started.. So- without further ado- here is new home..

Stone garage and outbuildings..

Smaller yard that opens into a large one. Needs to be cut down more but a good open field.

Yes it is part of the property. But at least there are some woods and all. The overgrowth is actually a old garden. Sooooooo whenever that will be in check. lol..

I think so too.. It will just take some time. We call it " the little yard" but its hardly small. Only part right now I do not care for with it is that under those huge trees there is no grass. We got some seed made for shady areas we hope will work..

That is a jenn-air stop top. The oven, microwave etc is on the other side to the right.. I can't get a whole picture of it but I tried..
Also between rooms are these big glass doors. I love it! And the stair case is huge!

Wowsers!! Stunning home. When was it built? I love the staircase and trim.

It was built in 1929. Its got 5 bedrooms upstairs- all good size, and a full basement. The basement is totally unfinished..
Its got two living rooms- one with a stone fireplace, but the other room is too big to be called a " parlor". Then a dinning room and kitchen, pantries etc.
What we are going to do with the basement I have no idea at this point. We already have a stone garage which will be his work shop, another building like for mowers and all, and another huge one that could fit a tractor trailer.. ( its that long..)
Anyway- now you can see why I was asking questions on other posts - like how to care for older real wood floors and fast growing grass seed in shade areas. The whole " little yard" isnt shade but one part is. These trees are amazing. They have got to be several hundred years old..

We have walked most of the outside yard fence and it was all in tact. However- by the time you come I will know for sure there are no gaps..

I like all the stone and I love the big back yard. I'm jealous of all the grass and trees..... around hear it's all sand the xeriscape. There's lots you could do with yours.
