Keep posting! It will help you and all the rest of us on diets. I don't even want to say diet because it really has to be a total change in what we eat forever. I feel so much better just being off of the sodas and if I want some junk like king cake :D I just eat a tiny piece. It is hard to resist all of the good food in Louisiana. It sounds like you are doing great!:)
What is king cake? I go through spells where I crave certain foods... sometimes it's foods I don't even usually eat, but it's because I can't have them that I want them...lol. My recent craving has been those dang buffalo wings we made around new years.. they were so good.

OMG you are lucky you don't know.:lol-sign: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_cake It is soooo good It is almost like a cinnamon roll but loaded with icing and colored sugar.:eek: One piece is enough to kill you. They have one made here (I have never tried it) that they deep fry first then load it up with sugar and icing.:yikes:

Nancy.. 11 - 1/2 inches? WOW!!!!!!! That's awesome.
my boobs seem to be shrinking...lol. I just really would like to see some of those inches fall off my legs and arms. But hey... my butt has gotten a tad smaller :D I'm having some minor difficulties keeping my pants up when I walk. I have my scrubs pulled as tight as I can pull the strings and they are still loose. But I'm okay with that as long as my crack doesn't hang out...lol. I have to wear tank tops under my scrub tops for sure now because the V neck comes so far down I'd be showing body parts for sure. And when I bend over my top gapes so far open that you can see all the way to my pants...lol.

I will be most excited when I can't wear my clothes anymore because they are just way to big to modify.

Yes... put an elastic on your wrist and and snap it before a bite to remind you should it go into your mouth or not . If it's " just one more bite ... but I shouldn't " You won't eat it !!!

I just weighed myself and I'm down to 318.5 :yikes: I just can't believe how much weight is coming off of me. I've lost a total of 37.5 pounds so far since Chrismas time. Granted... that 318.5 pounds is with nothing in my belly and after peeing.. and I'm sure if I weighed myself at the end of the night I'd be 3 or 4 pounds heavier... but that's normal to fluctuate like that.

I am so excited about this. It's been really hard at times, but I just keep going forward and it's paying off.:D:D:D

Well, I haven't lost anymore weight since the last time I posted being down to 318.5 pounds. In fact... I'm a pound heavier now. I thought it was just fluctuation, but I've actually been more around 324 the past few days in a row. I'm thinking some of it must be muscle mass verses fat because I've been bench pressing my cat..lol. And my arms have been sooooo sore.. especially the back side of them, they've been burning like fire. The last time we weighed Cocoa he was around 17 pounds. That doesn't sound like much, but by the time I did 50 repetitions I was about to die.

I haven't measured myself lately, but I do believe I've lost some more inches... or at least it feels like I have when I put my clothes on. I'm really trying hard to lose some inches on my arms, that's why I do the "Kitty ups" LOL. He just lays there and lets me bench press him..lol.

I've still been eating good and exercising as much as I can force myself to do. I actually managed to walk 4000 steps at work the night before.. that's the most I've walked in one night at work... and I had to push myself to do it, but I did it. I got my blood pumping, that's for sure. I checked my blood pressure after I finished walking and it was 183/88 or something ridiculous like that. But, it came right back down after I sat down a few minutes.

I wanted to go out to eat and cheat a little tonight but I think I'll hold off since I'm technically a pound heavier now... even if it is muscle or just fluctuation.

Well, after a day of peeing... I'm back down to my 318.5 pounds. So, since I had to work on my Birthday, he wants to take me out to dinner. We narrowed it down to 3 local restaurants and as much as I wanted to go to the mexican one or the chinese one.... I decided on the new barbecue place because it would be less fat and calories because the choices are bigger and they have salad. So, this is my first time going out to eat since I started the weight loss. I hope it doesn't go right through me :yikes:.

(((((HUGS)))))) Nancy. It's hard work to lose weight! I've stayed the same for a couple of months now, and am hoping once the weather gets nice that I'll be motivated to get out and walk again and start going down again. Congrats on your weight loss!!:D

Well I sort of blew it tonight. I thought the barbecue restaurant was the better choice... but I forgot that they had really good fries there. I didn't eat a lot of volume but what I ate wasn't good for me and I'm about sure it's gonna go right through me..lol. I ordered a pork barbecue plate that came with green beans, cole slaw, french fries and a cup of brunswick stew. I ate half my barbecue pork, 2 small bites of cole slaw, all my green beans and of course all the french fries...lol. Then I ate 3 of TJ's onion rings. I also ate my cup of stew. It sounds like a lot... but the portions weren't large. It's the fries and those couple of onion rings that were the worst choice, but they sure were good.

I will just have to be sure to eat really good this weekend so I don't get off track. I think overall.. I didn't really blow it after all because I didn't even finish my meal.

Tut -tut !!! No fries !!! LOL!!! Glad you enjoyed the dinner , but you should have gone Chinese ..... please try to stay away from anything fried !!! Especially when coated in breading etc , Now make up for it !!! You've done so well....don't let Grammy down !
