All my positive thoughts and vibes remain with Renee and her puppies. What a wonderful girl Renee is wanting to be a good mommy and what a silly person I have been worrying myself silly and checking the blogspot at least 40 times today when all the time positive updates and those wonderful pictures were over here. I do hope my PC is not acting up again.

Sorry the blog's been behind, but I've barely had 15 minutes at a time to write/post anything. There's a new post going up now... but it's mixed. Lots of good photos, and some bad news too :(

Renee bloated again last night and needed surgery again. They had to take out her spleen this time. I guess the good thing is that the tacked her stomach, so she shouldn't twist again. It couldn't be done last time as she had been under for too long already due to the long time it took to get in due to bleeding.

Also, early this morning White puppy died :( I think we will likely also lose Tan as she's very small and weak. Black and Yellow are touch-and-go, but the others are all nursing strongly from the bottle.

I really need things to start improving soon, we are all so terribly physically and emotionally drained :( :(

Well, Renee is stable at the clinic, though still on fluids. Her bloodwork isn't coming back quite right, not sure what exactly is off, but until she's more normal she won't be coming home. So she's there another night anyway. I want to go visit her really badly but can't get away :( plus the cost of fuel for all the runs is killing me. I'm hoping I can visit her tomorrow anyway as I'm sure seeing us will help her pick up. But at the moment puppy care has to come first. I know she's being well looked after.

All but one puppy is feeding well by bottle. Little Tan puppy just hasn't got a decent suckle yet, so she's getting tubed every feeding. We're really worried that she won't make it :( However, if she does we are pretty sure we'll keep her, even if just as a pet. She's so cute with her two white front feet. My mom wants to call her Debutante - Debby for short. But we need to get her past this non-nursing stage first. She must have been conceived in one of the last covers - so not just 7 days preemie (from first breeding) but more like 10 days preemie...

Aww poor Renee. Continued <<<<vibes>>>>> for all. Hopefully tube feeding her for a few more days will get her to when she 'should' have been born and she can go it more normally.

Glad Renee is at least stable and most of the pups are doing well... how sad about White. :( Lots of vibes headed your way, especially for Renee and your little Tan girl. It never occurred to me that some pups are actually younger than others by days.

Sadly we lost Tan this morning :( Renee is still at the clinic (I visited her when I took Tan in to see if we could keep her going, but it was too late). She's so sad and painful. I'm glad she's there, I couldn't cope with her being at home like this. It makes me want to cry. It's pretty certain that we will have to keep the puppies on bottles as Renee will be gone at least another day or two, and on pain meds which go into the milk and are not safe. I can't see us getting the puppies back on her at all. I don't know how she'll cope with it :( It's so heartbreaking.

This.

And good luck. I posted a pic for you the night they were born I think (coincidentally), it was a photo of the beddgelert sign. They'll be strong like him! I'm sure.

Poor Tan puppy. As heartbreaking as this is at least Renee and those puppies are lucky to have people like you and your family looking after them. You guys have done everything possible it is to do to give the puppies the best chance and its clear how much you care for Renee.

((hugs)) and <<<<vibes>>>>
