My poor poor pitiful chloe

I'll have to take some more when I get some from work and let the battery charge on my camera...
she is definitely moving around more, yesterday she was restless all day and was wanting to try to run around
and the swelling has gone down a quite a bit from the first and 2nd day
but seeing as how the wound has gotten better and not worse, we dont believe it was a brown recluse... and are assuming it was a snake, there werent any pellets found on the X-ray that was took...
so we may never know what happened...

Healing nicely ... looks much better than the first pictures you posted!
It's actually good that the x-rays did not show BBs. Those do heal fast but ... it would also have meant that you would have always had to worry about those boys in your nieghborhood ... 'cause if they had done it once they would have done it again. A snake or spider bite is just bad luck, prolly not likely to happen again.
