OMG, I would have chewed that guy out big time. (Which it sounded likey you did. :) Good for you!) Luckly, even though our dogs were jumpers once upon a time, if they ever jumped on somebody, they would either step away or wait for us to get the dogs off of them, so I didn't have to deal with crap from people.

Beth . . . GOOD FOR YOU!

I think, around here, I'd just be inclined to sit back and let the other two dogs explain the behaviour expected of guests . . . Can you imagine what would happen if someone hit one of this bunch like that :D

Bottom line - no one, but no one should lay a hand on your dog or feed your dog without your permission. Ever.

i would have been very mad and i can see why you acted like that, if it was my dog the guy would have had a broken nose, you just dont go into someone elses house and do that, you shouldnt even do it to your own animals!!!!

When my Tom ( 30 yrs marriage ) went through allergy tests and said to me, what if it's the dogs? ( we had 4 Goldens at that time ) I smiled and said I hope you find a place you like. For newbies, it wasn't dogs and we had almost 50 yrs. together. Had he not died, today would have been our 53rd. Bless you Tom for supporting me and my love for Goldens!! I miss you !

Oh, Tom sounds like he was wonderful. I am sure he loved your Goldens as much as you do.

EliNHunter - that movie does look really good. That is one that I must see also.

Renee - I wish I had your crew here with me that night. Can you imagine?! LOL! I doubt anyone would even think about raising a hand with that crew around!

Im suprised your husband didnt pop him and ask him how he liked being corrected.
He didn't hear it, and neither did my friend. They were in their own conversation, but I am really surprised that they missed the whole "put your b@lls on a stake in my front yard" thing. That is something that seems hard to not overhear.

For Babyblue - A Krystal is a little mini cheeseburger. It is a fast food restaurant like McDonald's or something.

This is a Krystal:

Lea - go to this link:

and you will see what they are.
They're also known as gutbusters, lol! Eat too many and its the trots  They do taste good about 2:00 a.m. when there's nothing else open except the IHOP or the Awful Waffle House and you've been up all night . . . Kind of like White Castles for all of you in the northern parts . . .

Oh yeah they are! I felt awful the next day after I ate them. They are so good in such a bad way. I had several cheese Krystals and a Krystal Chik. I love their chili cheese pups too. But I feel too bad the next day to indulge too often.

Bubba I was thinkin those looked like sliders. Never had a slider or a krystal, most fast food makes my stomache turn havent eaten it in months.

I do like burgers,n home grilled or pan fried.

Im glad your husband didnt here your exchange. I would have popped that guy, maybe more than once.
