I was planning on getting a Chihuahua puppy for Christmas but found out that this little girl was adoptable and now she is mine!!! Her name is Princess, (I call her Sweet Pea) she is about 1 year old and she is deaf....and so precious!!!
She has been passed around in between several homes and was in the process of being passed again....I went to see her and automatically cared for her, she licked my hand and sat beside me and when I patted her head she turned her head over in my hand as if to say thank you! I brought her home last Wednesday 11/8 and she has fit in so well. She goes outside to potty and is doing a great job at that! She sleeps with me in the bed and is a wonderful companion lap dog....just what I wanted!!! She is a very sweet and loving little doggie and doesnt meet a stranger, she even likes my four year old that is loud and moves around alot, but of course she cant hear him so she still likes him too, :lol-sign: She adores my hubby because he is the one that sit stills longer than the rest of us
I've never known a deaf dog before and didnt know how it would work out but I am so glad I got her....I couldnt ask for a better dog! She is very smart and knows what I am saying by my hand/sign language and she is SPOILED ROTTEN ALREADY
