Moderators

Well, one of the things we think about is whether or not moderating and dealing with the drama, the PMs and the general squabbling that can go on will ruin the fun for that particular person.
I can tell you that there are days when it's all I can do to bring myself to log on and look at some of the PMs and the reported posts.

lol...no, probably not....maybe if I wasn't spending endless hours up all night studying for my classes in school. I am the type of person that when I do something, I have to look and study every aspect of it, so being a moderator would be very time consuming to me...maybe later on in life...Ill get back to ya on that! 
As for the picture's, I had a siggy made, but I can't figure out how to save it on my computer as a jpeg file....I have a Mac, and I am still gettting used to this thing, definately a lot different than a PC. as soon as I figure it out, Ill definately put some up of my little luv..well not so little anymore :lol-sign:

As to becoming a moderator, haven't a clue. The only forum I've ever been a moderator on was a lot different than this forum (as in what goes and what doesn't) and I wound up in that position by just being a good little board user and reporting posts that WERE over the line (not many) and the like. The aim wasn't to become a mod but I was offered the position so I took it. It was fun.
It's just what you make of it. Mods dont' get any special privileges or anything. They do get their own board but IMO that board was worse than the other boards at times lol (probably because all the bad posts that were under 'review' were moved there). Oh and the deleting/locking of posts and what not. I guess that's a privilege.

I was a mod on a few forums before. A few were small and didn't need moderating, and I left the other simply because I felt the other mods were unfair in their actions (banning/censoring people who didn't agree with them).
I actually didn't notice a big difference between being a mod and being a member, except the private forum and some extra responsibility.
