I keep Bailey on the lead for many reasons:
1: The Danger of the Road.
2: He can be overly friendly with children (and may knock them over to lick them).
3: If he approached a DA dog that is on-lead there would be hell to pay.
The list goes on.............
I see walking Bailey as very enjoyable....never as a chore.
Bailey is very happy on-lead b/c he doesn't know any different (unless in an area that is controlled for him to be off-lead).
