I sure do!! I have about 1 real life girl friend (exculing y'all of course! :D ) and about 30 male friends! I get on so much better with men!! I think it's because I was a real Tomboy as a child and I just like things that men like! Offroading 4x4's, Quad biking, Fishing, Shooting, etc. I do get upset though when people call me "Manly" :( I think just because I like to do mainly "Male" orientated sports, that doesn't make me less of a woman!
I also find men so much more easy going!! They don't care if your hair isn't perfect, they aren't bothered if you have painted your nails or not, my male friends are only bothered about.. If you are a good shot, the size of the fish you caught and if you buy a round in the pub afterwards!!! :D

And I have never really had any sexual tension with my male friends! There has been the odd drunken snog from time to time, but if you are adult about it, and say, "look i'm sorry about last night, lets get over it" things are generally all good again!! :D

I also have mostly guyfriends, so yes, I think it is possible. Then again, three really great friendships with guys went down the drain because they wanted more than being just friends at some point.
The last team I played hockey for was also very strange in that way. Four guys tried to start something with me at different times and it was a really odd feeling to walk into that locker room :)

But yes, there can be platonic friendships between men and women. It can lead to odd situations though :)

Just an answer...

Men and women, yes, certainly they can be friends. Girls and boys..... possible, but not so much. I think life is hard enough for kids, little bundles of hormones that they are, without deliberately complicating things. I think if a friendship happens, that's great. But I wouldn't recommend that a girl/boy seek out somebody of the opposite sex for friendship simply because the girl/boy has the idea that they'd somehow make better friends.

Yep!!

I have male friends, I would never consider them anything other than platonic friends!

But, what if a girl had better guy friends than girl friends? (or vise versa)
For most of my life, that has been the case. I've always had more/better guy friends than girl friends.

Well, that’s what everyone else has said. But don’t feel bad, I agree.
*sigh* I do wish I had more guy friends though. I only have one, but I never get to see him.

Now, guys and girl get along better, now you know why I want more guy friends!
