I love that this community doesn't ignore grossly unethical practices. Just because its the same member bringing up the same topics again and again doesn't mean others need to stop questioning and disputing them.
People can't expect Chazzers with such a passion for dogs to sit down and shut up when they see something that is so obvisouly wrong or needs improvement.
Chaz is a dog information bank with passionate and knowledgeble members, expect questions. It not an "ooo - ahh" forum.
I read through this thread and it seems a few people that usually stay out of these sort of things have even jumped in, myself included. I don't understand how someone can be a member of Chazhound and not understand that subpar breeding = more dead dogs.

I don't think she needs to leave, I think she needs to properly educate herself and make her breeding practices more ethical, then I will gush over puppies without having to wonder how many dogs may die because of people that refuse to learn.

Perhaps some people ARE ok with BYBs. Hey it takes all kinds. But don't expect us who are horrified by them to stand idly by whilst people congratulate them for brining more puppies into the world.
And I hope its not people following the pack.. I have seen many people in this thread that usually disagree with each other standing together. To me thats not 'going with the pack' Its people uniting in what they believe in, not because its what 'the cool kids are doing' but because they passionately believe that unethical and harmful breeding practices are WRONG.
And many people have said they hoped she'd stay. Its interesting how people keep trying to say we want her to leave. You miss the point.. we want her to breed better.

but this topic is getting totally ridiculous just because people didnt join in this elementary witch hunt does not mean they support BYB's. For all everyone's amazement and disappointment on this topic... I find it shocking that people who at one time appeared to be mature members of this community are now gossiping in chat like school kids, just remember everything that is said in chat DOES NOT stay private.

Who is gossiping? Why is standing up against BYB a witch hunt?
I really think you are reading things into posts that aren't there. Most people are saying its not a witch hunt.
If it was a witch hunt it would be unwarrented (cause by definition there are not witches in witch hunts) Are you saying the OP should be allowed to post with no questions? Just let her use chaz to promote her pups and we should all stand by as she is a great breeder who should breed dogs?

Oh I know full well that we're spied on in chat. I don't say anything on chat that I wouldn't say directly to the person, and have. It's not "gossip", it's discussion, and frankly we should be allowed to discuss these matters in chat, especially when we can't discuss it elsewhere. I have no doubt people have "gossiped" about me in chat at some point when I'm not there. *shrug*

I have seen people talk crap and then when that person arives they are nice to them. I have seen people leave chat and then the crap starts again. Not speaking about anyone specifically. But I have observed very childish things due to the cliques here and I find it very ugly at times

it goes in cycles...and since you are one of the ones "in" the "group" you of course would notice it less...I agree, it comes and goes...but it is prevalent on this forum very much so compared to other places.
Also i think we ALL have the same opinion on this poster...what seems to be differing is how to HANDLE that poster. I agree with you all about her dogs...I just don't think ramming it down her throat or harping on her is the answer. Would you do this to a person IRL?

I didnt mean discussion of threads = gossiping.
I meant the PERSONAL attacks that people are saying about people not in chat... just remember there is probably someone in chat with you who is copying/pasting/ and PM'ing/emailing.
I guarantee that these things ARE NOT being said in the threads... if your fine with that, great but don't then try and be two faced to that same person.

I normally don't say aww cute pups or the like when they talk about a litter they just had. Out of curiosity, how would you handle it? You know they (general they) are a BYB, would you respond to them talked about the pups/what they are doing?
