having them in that crate realy worries me, in the end of the video you can see the pups leg sticking out through the gaps.

i have no problem with a large crate as a whelping/raising "den" but please put something along the bottom of all the walls so those itty bitty pups cant get stuck.
those gaps are easily big enough for a head to fall through and while there in this stage...

very cute babies though...

This is only temporary - it's the "whelping area" in our office so that I could have quick and easy access. They are here until the weekend, then they move to the "dog house".

I streamed it live and was considering posting it on here. But comments like that would have just stressed me out at a time that I needed to stay very calm and focused.

comments like what?

So far people have been nice... or are people not allowed to be helpful

I posted my litter here. I got lots of advice and feedback. I took some of the advice but not all. I accepted it graciously in the spirit it was given.

I also didn't have anything to hide and fully explained anything I was doign to anyone who asked.

It's not a shed - please don't spread false rumors and lies by demeaning my hard work.

Because it is what I choose to do. I have raised four litters in the "dog house" without complications.
Its a shed in your back yard, with climate control. Why is calling it a shed a bad thing?

I think the dog house sounds more demeaning and conjurs images of the dogs who live next door in dog houses with no bedding or insulation...

I DO like your shed set up. But it is a shed is it not?

Im happy you had a healthy litter and that momma dog is fine. the pups are beautiful

Im just curious as to why the pups dont grow up inside the house with you?
Im not trying to demean, im just curious.. thats how things are usually done. for socialization as well as its probably easier to check up on them when they are right there.

you have your own way of raising them, but im curious as to why you chose to go with the.. puppy palace.. instead of an xpen in the kitchen or living room or something.

Because no one here can just say "cute" or "sweet" and move on. There always has to be something wrong with what I do. It gets old really fast.

What's wrong with asking questions? We're all here to learn. Puppies are cute, yes, yours included. But aside from being cute, many of us are interested in various breeding practices. No one is being mean.

Because it's the way that I like it. It's a less stress-free environment for me. It makes me happy, it makes the puppies happy, and if you'd like any references from former customers who are very happy with the socialization I have provided, please e-mail me :)

I appreciate the spirit in which your comment was given :)

I understand this. But you have to understand how I have been treated here.

You have been treated the way you have because you don't answer questions. If you are proud of your breeding program you have nothing to worry about.

I know there were those who disagreed with some of the choices I made with the Dekklet litter. BUT I stand behind my decisions and answered every questions with the reasons why.

This board is passionate about dogs. The welfare of dogs in general. If you are on the up and up and breeding ethically and with your dog's best interest then you have nothing to worry about. People disagree all the time.
