OMG!!! I feel so bad. I cant stand people like that. Adoptions are getting SO rediculous lately. I can understand wanting them to have a good home but because your fence is too "small", come on, thats rediculous. What about those dogs living in apartments, they have NO fence but I'm sure they get sufficient exercise. I'm so sorry, Jess, .

This woman has to have a supervisor...I would call and talk to her supervisor, and ask that person to call the foster mom. If finding the dog a really good home is important they will do that.

The coordinator is a very stupid woman.

I know I don't post very often, but I've been reading about your journey to get Charlie. The whole thing is ridiculous and unfair. All those poor dogs....it just doesn't make sense that they would turn you down. Charlie would be very blessed to have you. Good luck if you try to take this any further.

I really think you should pursue it jess.... Not only to give Charlie a good home but so we call all flip this woman the bird!!! She deserves it....

I wonder how many dogs have been at this shelter for a long time... with a woman like that controlling the animals being adopted I'm sorry to say that I don't think their doing a very good job of finding needy animals good homes.

Really, Jess, get up the courage, call and ask to speak to the supervisor. If she answeres, ask to speak to her boss. You should start a petition, we'll all sign, and send it to her manager or something. There HAS to be some way for this to work out...

Thats the thing..the foster mom said that most of their animals where adopted from out of state people or people that were not from that county
