We're the opposite!! I am considered the "pretty" sister! And to be perfectly honest, my sis has always had all the luck with men!! She is funny, but can also be very selfish and bratty at times!! She always wants it her own way!! I find that men don't want to approach me incase of a put down, although I must admit that my wicked sense of humour does get me into LOTS of trouble in that department! lol! In the end I found my prince over the internet of all places where looks really have no bearing!! He was a little shocked when he first met me though ( he has admitted this) he said " What's a girl who looks like you, meeting guys on the interet for??" At least Iknow he loves me for my personality!! See looks can be an asset or a hindrance!! You never know if someone likes you for you!! Makes you cynical and suspicious of everyone!!

I'm sure your not ugly anyway!! Just having one of those days?? Everyone has them!! Especially me!! lol! :D
Defiantly one of those days....

Thanks everyone

Dang I don't remember seeing your picture, lol.

But hey, everyone said it perfectly, what matters is what's inside. Frankly I would hate to be one of those 'hot' girls, and keep wondering if the guys I date are with me for who I am or for my ass. Sorry to be blunt!

i'm an ugly sister, too, and fortunately, I have a handsome brother, not a pretty sister.

And I guess I'm still kinda beautiful when people don't look at my brother. So, the same to you. Just don't appear with your sister at the same time when you want yourself to be more attractive. :D

Pixie, beauty is often only skin deep. It also in the eye of the beholder. If people do not want to see past the exterior, well, that makes it easy for you to decide if they are worth your time or not.

Be true to yourself and do not ever compromise who you are to simply be "popular". If you do that, someday, the RIGHT man will notice, the kind of man you WANT to notice you. Ya catch my drift?

Most of all, don't play into her hands by caring what she thinks. If she wants to be a shallow bimbo who gets through life with a pretty face, good for her. She shall reap what she sows. Also, FWIW, I can think of a person who visits here who would be PERFECT for her. ;)

You are a better person than that to let her get to you Pixie. KNOW that and be YOURSELF.

Finally... Curvy, GOOD. Thin "starved model look", BARF!

99.9% of men I have ever met agree with that.

Womanly is sooooo much more attractive than skin and bone.

And no man REALLY wants the perfect model type - I mean, for starters they would be worrying ALL the time about her being poached ;)

Pixie - you really shouldn't worry :D

and we all just age anyway. you may be surprised to find she isn't all that attractive anymore when she is 40! believe me, those 'hot' looks fade faster than a fart in a windstorm. :) (that's why people love to go to high school reunions...it's a hoot to see the former cheerleaders looking as crappy as the rest of us) :) and...I just saw your pic again.....and you is craaazzzy if you think you're ugly!!!!!!!

Pixie - for the life of me i can't remember if i've seen a picture of you. But i agree with everyone else. When I was 16, i had the height and the body that a lot of girls were very envious off, but my looks were not hot at all. I had acne all over my face - super red, and blotchy - my hair! Oh! my hair made me look like i had a chocolate brown poodle sitting on my head! I was so NOT cute! But then when i turned 22 all of that finally changed. I no longer looked like i was an alien from planet ugly!

I am laying bets that you will grow into your looks. You may not be exactly like your sister, but my guess is that you will grow even more pretty. Especially! If you develop your personality and intelligence along side, and in the end...? Who do you think will be laughing then? ;)

Oh, Pixie, I just thought of this....I've noticed that all those people who would be considered "pretty" when they're younger, are really not as "good-looking" when they're older, and all those "ugly" people are "good-looking" when they're older ;)
