OKay I don't care what anyone says compared to my sister im the ugliest thing to walk the planet. She's the tall, black hair blue eyed, thin model (Yes model) and im the short, curvy, clumsy featured lil sister everyone loves to love as a sister . This is just a random rant after a day of being out in pubic with my sister i remember why I dislike it so much......

Its lovely to watch every single guy turn his head and stare at my sister. Of course there walks me Miss Invisable when Jas is around. Every single boyfriend I have had has told me my sister was "hot" and "too bad she's over age". I have even had the boyfriends who dated me to get close to her. Too bad she's married not that it stops her from cheating.....Lol (sorry that always gives me a giggle).

But I seriousely hate going out with her in public. I remember once I told her she was the pretty sister and she told me I was right!!!! Once again it sucks being the ugly sister. Its pretty bad when even the pretty sister says you got the crap end of the genes .

Sometimes I think my good looks are a curse. JK, Im butt ugly but when folks look at me they dont think "now theres a fella that has had an easy life". I like my women like I like my trucks, not much to look at but very functional. I have dated gals that were what we refer to as "hot" and I spent the whole time wondering if they were messing around. I also found them useful more at night home alone than out doing the things that life is really about. Id take a girl who is funny and smart over a model any day. On another bright note those good looks only last for a short time. I would much rather spend my time with a person who has a great personality, caring, not afraid to break a nail, not worried if their hair is blowing the wrong way, respects others, not a person that it takes two hours before they can walk outside to get the mail, cries if they break a nail, cheats & is untrustworthy.

I have met so many hotties through my son, and most don't have the brain cells, and personality to go along with the beauty. I will be so glad when he gets off the hot chick syndrome and finds a cute girl with intelligence and personality.

First of all, Pixie, you are not ugly!! I've seen you! You're very pretty!! I love your eyes, they stand out. I love your hair. And you've got a great personality - you're very fair, you're funny, you're nice....

I kind of know how you feel. I have four older sisters, and they're all gorgeous. Especially my oldest sister and my teenage sister. They're gorgeous, and you can tell that everyone thinks that. But why would I want to look like them? It'd be no fun looking exactly like someone else. IMO everyone is gorgeous. I don't think anyone is ugly. I can see someone who would be considered drop-dead gorgeous walking down the street, and they just look stuck-up and rude, and then I can see someone who would be considered "ugly" walking down the street, and their personality shines through, and that is the person I consider gorgeous. Tyra Banks, a woman who many people consider to be beautiful...I don't think she's all that pretty. No offense, but you can see people like her all the time. A nice, long face. A ton of makeup, stylish clothes. It's nothing new.

Be proud of yourself and know that you're gorgeous. I really hate how people seem to base their opinions on who is "gorgeous" on what they look like, rather than what their personality is like.

Oh, and another thing. Do you really think these guys who hit on girls who would be considered drop-dead gorgeous really care about what kind of people those girls are? NO! I would rather have people like me for what I am inside than what I am outside. For me, yes, if a guy is good looking, that's a plus I suppose, but really what matters is their personality. Someone could be considered butt ugly, but if they're nice, there's a 99.9% that I'm going to like them.

A lot of the "pretty" girls I meet depend on their looks rather than their personalities to get what they want. A lot of them are rude, self-absorbed brats. My teenage sister is very pretty. I love her - she's my sister - and she can be a really nice person, but she can also be a very rude, selfish little brat. She feels like the world should revolve around her, and I've tried to talk to her about how I feel, and how instead of buying herself $40 jeans, she should donate that money, or spend it on something she actually needs, rather than something she wants. She takes it as a personal attack and gets upset and makes it as if I'm the bad guy. I love my sister, but I can't stand what a selfish brat she can be.

Half of these guys that are the friends of my son don't want the tall lanky kind, they want curves, they want personality, they want the likes of you. Your sister shouldn't have said what she did, but sigh siblings can be so mean. We're the opposite!! I am considered the "pretty" sister! And to be perfectly honest, my sis has always had all the luck with men!! She is funny, but can also be very selfish and bratty at times!! She always wants it her own way!! I find that men don't want to approach me incase of a put down, although I must admit that my wicked sense of humour does get me into LOTS of trouble in that department! lol! In the end I found my prince over the internet of all places where looks really have no bearing!! He was a little shocked when he first met me though ( he has admitted this) he said " What's a girl who looks like you, meeting guys on the interet for??" At least Iknow he loves me for my personality!! See looks can be an asset or a hindrance!! You never know if someone likes you for you!! Makes you cynical and suspicious of everyone!!

I have an older brother (by 3 yrs). He was always slim, athletic etc. He used to TRY and put weight on. He was popular with the girls (I went to an all girl school and they ALL knew who he was!).

My sister is 7yrs younger than me. She is about a foot taller, blonde, blue eyes, LONG legs, does athletics, popular - you name it

Then there's me! Short, not over weight, but not skinny, put weight on (ie - can't eat whatever I like, like my sis), big boobs - womanly figure I'm the one into all the alternative stuff (like dogs! lol!). My sis and bro call me the hippy/mosher lol - even though I do not dress like that!

But, I know I'm attractive, just not the tall blonde attractive! You can't compare yourself to your siblings or you'll just end up on a downer all the time My sister may be tall, thin and pretty - but I'm small, womanly and pretty lol! In fact, there was only me and my gran that were short(er). We're not exactly midgets but EVERYONE in my family is tall and slim. Seriously! Even my 14 yr old cousin towers over me.

You know what my gran used to say?

"Good things come in small packages. So does poison "

And I used to have major self image issues! As you get older (literally in the next few years) you will begin to realise how little it matters what YOU THNK other people think.

In the meantime, think of the killer wit and awesome personality you've got going for you, and while it sounds cliché "she's got a great personality", trust me, those are the girls the guys really go for, unless you really do want nothing more than a one-nighter.

Give yourself some time, dear girl! Wine and cheese, two very admired and sophisticated things, only get better with age, and so will you!
