Just like the title says...

My girls are total opposites. 6-7 am and Mia is up and raring to go. We get into arguments in the morning about waking up, lol. She'll stare me down or try to play. First thing after going outside she's inside ready for a fetch game.

Now Summer... Summer is in bed until noon. I have to almost drag her little butt outside to go potty in the mornings. Really you cannot get her to do anything before noon.

Haha, I'd like a morning dog (I say that now) to make me get up in the morning :D

Kaylee would and has slept the entire day. She'll move from one bed to another making these little groaning noises about having to move and covering her eyes with a blanket so the sun doesn't bother her.

Then around 7pm she's getting into everything she possibly can and bouncing off walls.

But it makes it rather hard to want to go to work when I've got a dog snuggled up next to me that wants to stay in bed

Nope. Juno will get me up at around 7 to go potty and have breakfast, but by 7:30 we're both back in bed till around 10:30-11:30.

And Lucy just sleeps... all day. lol.

Yes. They are always raring to go outside in the mornings. Daisy especially because she knows mornings mean BREAKFAST, lol! Although, if Daisy has had a busy day playing and such, she will sleep in. Benji never sleeps in no matter what.

Mary use to be a morning girl..now she is a middle of the night girl and sometimes that means every few hours.

Pepper sleeps in. Pepper rises on her own about 9-10.

Victor leaps out of bed like he has been goosed everytime someone shifts. HE is so afraid of being laid on and came that way, we didn't create it.. So who knows what time he is. IF I am up he is up. WAiting for me to go someplace and take him along.

Haha Summer is the same way. When I turn on the light she groans and then shoves her head under the covers.

Just like a teenager. I swear.

Sal used to be but now that he is getting older he hates getting up in the morning (5am for his walk).

In Sal's perfect world.... we get up about 8 or 9am.

Armani could stay in bed all day... I had the perfect life, LOL.... then I got Chloe... she is up bright and early and NEEDS someone to play with... she pats me on the head, looks under the pillow to make sure I am alive, sits on my head, licks me, anything to try and get me up... then she gives up and goes to Armani and does all the same things, haha... she usually has better luck there and he will get up and play with her.... great, right?
NO... they play in my bed, like I am not even there... they run all over me and make SOOO much noise that eventually I get up and throw food in their dishes to get them quiet, HAHA.

*in the interest of full disclosure I ADORE Chloe and cant imagine my life without her, I imagine it would be a life where I had more sleep, but I LOVE her.

Both of my girls are perfectly content to sleep until whenever I wake up. :D But once I'm up, or they THINK I'm up that's it.

LOL Mia goes like this.

*STARE*
I feel that something's watching me so I open my eye a crack. Mia's face is intently watching me from an inch or two away. Then...
*SMACK* right in the nose with her paw.
*SMACK SMACK*
She whines a bit. Then she goes to Summer whom usually retaliates to the smacking by biting at her then coming to tattle to me (Which can involve Summer ending up on my head trying to give me a tongue bath).
I grumble and scold a bit and tell them to lie down. Then I roll over and Mia gets up.
*SMACK*
I know you're awake stupid dog! lol
Then she starts wrestling a pillow all over the bed like crazy.

I think Mia and Chloe and then Summer and Armani would be much better pairs.

I feel bad for Armani sometimes, he is like a really really annoyed older brother and I cant help but laugh when he comes to me, like "Mom please help me, I want to be left alone"

No Ivan is not a morning dog. If its dark he doesn't want to be bothered. If its around 9 am he "might" get up. But for the most part his mornings dont' start until about 10.

No, my dogs are pretty sleepy in the morning. Of course, when I say morning, that's my morning....I'm up usually between 5 and 6. Jose` will get up because he just has to be right near me almost all the time. But he goes to sleep right away, next to me. The girls sleep and sleep away the morning until about 8...then ask to go potty and have breakfast.

They're all the most active in the middle of the day....late morning until around 6 at night (off and on)...then by 7 or so, they get into the night time, dreamy mode.

I'll get up 9 ish but Ollie will stay in my bed until he hears me add sugar to my cup of coffee ..... sugar for me , a dog bone for him . Sometimes he stays up , sometimes he waits for my second cup . He's never ready to go potty !

Murphy and Maya do not sleep past about 7:30, unless I have already gone to work and my husband is the only one still in the bed. If I'm home they wake me up to go out and have breakfast. If I don't get up to feed them, Murphy will whine until I do (and he has done so for an hour straight when I was trying to refuse to give in to him). If it's just my husband they will stay in bed until 9 or 10, sometimes later, and Murphy never whines to him. He just started this in the past couple of months, so I don't know why he does it. Both dogs will happily go back to sleep once they have had breakfast, but unfortunately, once I'm up, I have trouble going back to sleep. It's completely unfair that they do this to me, since Chris will fall back asleep the second he gets back in bed. The only time they will sleep in later for me is if Chris goes to work at 5am and takes them outside before he leaves.

lol my dogs are all accustomed to the "college lifestyle" and are pretty adaptable (ie. you get fed and walked whenever i get around to/it's convenient... no schedules here...). Daisy is up whenever I'm up - she just doesn't want to potentially miss out on anything "fun" that involves her and mommy (she's the 9year old basset...). Liz takes a little coaxing but is generally compliant with getting up whenever we get up. Eerie will open one eye, and ignore all my efforts, and sleep until noon. She's the youngest of the three... go figure.

Finn's good at sleeping, or at least staying quiet, until I get up, as long as he's only been crate-bedded for 8-9 hours. So I can go to bed at 10pm and get up at 6am, and he's happy, or I can go to bed at 2am and wake up at 10am, and he's happy. He's adaptable to my weird sleep schedules. <3

I have to literally push my dog out of bed in the morning (or threaten to put the murphy bed back in the wall with him on it lol). When he does get up, he goes straight to his crate to sleep some more. I have to make him go out - though I admit sometimes if he was out to potty pretty late and I'll be back home fairly early, I don't make him go out until I get back.

This is why teaching him to wake me up when the alarm goes off failed miserably, and I now have a flying alarm clock xD
