Renee, you might have to give me a temporary ban, because I'm about to fall out of my chair laughing over here. Terra says I've gone crazy, but she's glad to see me having a good time.

Link me because none of them appear on the alphabetized lists.
Unfortuntely, my joke both went out of posting order and entirely over your head.

If there was no evidence that avalanches had ever existed and the word avalanche didn't appear anywhere but in fairy tales and myths, then yes, I'd sure as heck stand right there.
So now you're saying that BSL is a myth? My, aren't we getting interesting all of a sudden.

Sure is. Survival of the fittest. I'll be standing when your pit bulls are banned from city limits.
DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNAR FOR MOTIVE.

Next I suppose you'll be letting me know of a comma I missed somewhere?
Aren't you the one who made an entire fuss over a typo in the first place?

This, my friends, is the type of person that we need to watch out for. This is the type of untrained, uncontrolled menace to dog lovers everywhere that we really need to be on the watch for, because this type of person is exactly the ones all those "IZ FOR DA CHILLUNS" scare tactics are aimed towards.

You tell me PETA doesn't have an impact? Have you listened to your own arguments? You are a product of their flawed, inane logic and the drivel you continue to spew in this thread is proof positive.

Do you really have so few friends that you have to argue over something that an overwhelming portion of this board's members deal with every day? We are not the Catholic Church and you are not Galileo. Quite the opposite. In this case, you, my dear, are a Flat Earth denzin.

hookey

Hock"ey\, n. [From Hook, n.]

1. A game in which two parties of players, armed with sticks curved or hooked at the end, attempt to drive any small object (as a ball or a bit of wood) toward opposite goals.

2. The stick used by the players. [Written also hookey and hawkey.]

So this thread is about hockey!
:rofl1: Ah! It all becomes clear. Thanks. I was getting dizzy :D

I think if certain folks on this thread got more "non penatrative sexual play" they'd be less cranky and less fixated on other folks's dogs...I'm jes' sayin.

Watch out. That's one of those Voice of God non-existant breeds because you spelled the name wrong.

In all seriousness here is why BSL is scary regardless about how anyone feels of any breed.

If one breed is banned it opens the doors for other breeds to be banned. It become easier and easier to accept that a breed will be banned. "Three retrievers bit kids last year. Let's just ban them."

And yes retrievers bite.

A few years later it's another breed that is being laughed at today. Soon it will be the little guys too. Poodles do bite. Chihuahuas bite. They may not KILL necessarily but they do damage. Throw them on the list.

And it's even scarier with all the backyard breeding. There are a lot of badly bred dogs out there giving their breed a bad reputation. Of ALL breeds. And those are the ones that will be focused on. Those are the ones that will generate a bad image for the breed and open it to BSL.

BSL makes politicians and others feel better. It's a bandaid for people who have been hurt and are crying out for justice. Nothing more. There are no long-term positive effects. Nothing is going to CHANGE with this kind of legislation. Not for the better.

Are you sure "non penatrative" is the cure though? I would think the opposite would be true. Unless you're sticking with the "Opposite Day" logic seen through this thread so far, in which case, go for it! Go non-pen yourself.

:rofl1:

Sorry, it wasn't funny enough for me to notice.
So now you're saying that BSL is a myth? My, aren't we getting interesting all of a sudden.
Learn about analogies. What have I been saying all along is a myth? Oh yeah...several of those dog breeds! Good job. Try again.
DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNAR FOR MOTIVE.
I haven't exactly been shy about my opinions on the subject. My support for the matter is only strengthened when people opposing it only want to spread lies and myths instead of focusing on facts.
Aren't you the one who made an entire fuss over a typo in the first place?
There is a big difference between a typo and several major gross errors.
In this case, you, my dear, are a Flat Earth denzin.
I had heard that people thought the earth was flat. They were proved wrong. Then there were these other people that believed that BSL was going to kill all animals because it started out by restricting the Boozkiejf Hound and it all went downhill from there!

I might have to wait a few years for the satisfaction of being right on that matter, but that is okay. My dogs won't ever be touched. If someday I'm told that I have to register my poodle or obtain a breeding license if I wanted to breed, I'd sign the check, nod and smile.
