Basically I really want one of these:

(Picture taken from google)

My next dog will be a purebred aussie. Of course this is at least a few years down the road.

Ooooh Jenn, I want one of those too one day. From everything I've read, they're completely awesome.

Yup. Emma's first agility trainer was one of the first people to bring them to Canada, and she had the first ever litter born here.

We will not be getting another dog any time soon. 2 is our limit. But just for kicks... I want an english cocker spaniel, not sure what color yet... actually, the color doesn't really matter. They're all beautiful :)

Anyone else going crazy for this little GHF cutie?
I have admired him :). I wouldn't personally go to GHF for a dog, but I still love browsing their site. They actually have an adult female right now who appeals to me very much.

I know one of the very few Mudi breeders in the states (believe she had the first US litter, but maybe I'm making that up). I might like the dogs if she wasn't such a loon to deal with that I disliked them by association! I do like the size and look quite a bit.

While I still want my BC puppy, and am lucky to have the right connections to get just what I want when the time comes, a part of me is also thinking I'd rather go smaller. I've met and ADORE this girl:
Adopt a Jack Russell Terrier: Beatrice: Petfinder
although I'm not sure I want to or have the schedule to fix her crating issues. Otherwise, she's an absolute doll.

There is also talk of this girl making her way to Vermont, and my friend already told me she wants me to take her if she does:
Adopt a Border Collie: VIXEN: Petfinder

So yes. I have the Wants.

I haven't seriously started considering breeds for my next dog, because it's going to be so far away (I think it's is the first time in ALL of my life I haven't wanted another dog. My hands are pleasantly full. ;)), but right now my list is: Mal, GSD, Border Collie, Golden, Mix, or maaaaaaybe a Pit. In no specific order... Which even shows itself to me, really.

But like I said, very happy with what I have now. :D

oh and my other i wants one days...

i want one of any of these three breeds, though for some reason the boerboel is the one calling out to me the most...

the fila (i love the white markings on the second one lol)

the pressa (it would have to be a brindle im IN LOVE with brindles!)

the boerboel in either red/fawn or brindle...
as i said the boerboels have been REALY tweeking my fancy lately!

then of course theres the breeds of "mabe one day but im not sure"

as cool as poodles are i dont think i could take the grooming...

and i love danes, but their short lifespans are heart breaking.

Well, I have 2 puppies under the age of a year, so I don't even want to think about puppies for a while! lol.

This is actually my 'want' at the moment...

Adopt a Chihuahua: Owen: Petfinder

I met him yesterday at Petsmart, and he's such a sweet heart. He's a 9 year old LC chihuahua from a bad situation. It's just painful to see such him in a rescue, and I hope he gets a good home. I wish I could take him and give him a good remander of his life... I just wouldn't want to stress him out with Rory and Tucker.

So many dogs, too little of a life span....

My major wants right now and possible next dog in the future:

A Saluki that I can possibly try my hand at hunting with and if not that at least do some coursing.

Or a blue cattle dog to try some herding and obedience with and possibly some bite work

Hey Jessie!

I was in Petsmart on Sat and saw Owen...what a cutie!! We bought a mouse.
I don't know...my hands were full with 3bcs and a PON...and then we added a rescue mini wirehaired dachshund!!! We're rather full in the dog department....the Doxie is a blast, though. Maybe we'll get another one many years down the road.

Things are a bit quiet now because the youngest bc is away at sheep camp for the next couple of months.

That's too funny! Talk about a small world. He definitely is a cutie... I just feel so bad for him.

It's not so much just taking on the responsibilty of another dog... I'd be afraid he'd come with a ton of health issues. This makes me feel so bad as well, because he's 9 and deserves to live out the rest of his life in a good home.

Eshh... eventually when I get a big enough place and have the time I really want another black Bouvier De Flanders. I love them so much!

and lately I have been thinking about the Standard Poodle alot. So they may be in the future sometime. I would want either a black or choclate.

And of course I will always have a terrier. But I am not thinking about what breed of terrier just yet. Teagan is still a puppy!
