It's not fair. My breeder has this puppy that the buyer backed out of and no one is stepping up more than likely because she's solid. I want her. I don't want another puppy, I just want HER.

I plan on the next year and half-two years geting a solid female from him for breeding (as long as Trav and nameless female work out for it) and it's not the right time now and even if it was I couldn't afford the shipping price. But I want her.

She's the sister to the dog the dog I adore to pieces (seriously, would take this dog in a heartbeat) and looks JUST like her. Tiny, petite, agile and a spitfire.

Look at the socks!

With her sister, the one that I adore

WANT. But can't have :(

BOOO!!!!

She is so freaking adorable. I am sure the right home will come along for her. Its sucks when you really want a puppy, but the time is not right. I feel your pain.

I knoooooooow it will. I'm torn between wanting it to be one of the Koolie people I know or be someone that I will never have to see pictures of her growing up.

I don't know what it is about this puppy that is tugging on me so bad, she's rather plain for a Koolie to be honest but something about her (and has since pictures were posted when she still looked like a guinea pig) is just perfect for me.

It's a good thing Australia is so far away, stops me from being impulsive.

I just found out that the Aussie breeder I've been coveting a puppy from since 2003 is planning a litter for this upcoming spring. >_<

The sire, Viper, is from their 2003 litter and was one of my favorite pups outside of Magnum. The bitch, Cougar, is a red tri, so there's going to be all four colors in this litter.

Viper produced this guy in his last litter (the red merle is a pup they kept from a previous crossing)

They throw the BEST blue merles...

Anyone in the states you know wanting to import but looking for the right dog? You could recommend and then at least have a chance of working something out down the line if all goes well...

I've got a handful of people who want to import but it's all with the idea of splitting shipping to knock down the cost. No one that I've spoken to has been interested in paying the full importation cost.

Zoom, you thinking of getting a puppy in spring? Or is it a no go?

I had a dog for training and seriously wanted to keep him, but couldn't. He was sold to a good working home on the east coast. i wanted for 2 years after that, and I was approached by the same breeder to take another dog, this time to keep. It was a full sister to that dog I only had for a few months, and it was worth the wait. It's cliche, but things happen when they're supposed to happen

I'm dying to get things set up so I can have a puppy in the spring, but as with everything else I've tried to set up over the past however many years, it's a "wait and see" type of thing. Crap seems to change from month to month with me anymore and I'm getting really tired of it.

I was looking at pics of this pup yesterday, she's a cutey. Her ears are tiny compared to most koolies.
I've noticed when they go up that young they seem SO tiny! Holly's did that too and it's so funny because her ears look miniature when she was a puppy.

I think your mom should get her too. Ok? Ok.

Oh, that's tough. I've been through that as well, but I will not bring another dog into this house while my current three are around. It just would not be fair to me or them... but I can't help but fall in love with and wish for a certain puppy every now and again!
