I totally understand. I'm friends with a lot of the Ibizan Hound breeders in the US and there's a couple litters on the ground right now that are just drool worthy. There's also a 4 year old bitch looking for a home right now which makes me wish I lived in a house so I could have her. My breeder is planning her litter late next year so I'm just hoping our cards will fall in place by then because I'd love a pup from that litter.

I understand. My neighbor recently got two new hunting puppies. Holy CUTE! They play and play and play while making all kinds of cute puppy sounds I can hear from my yard. Torture.

If it makes you feel any better I'm looking at about 5 years. So any breedings/dogs I look at, it'd be their grandpups I may be considering for my next dog lol.

At least I've finally narrowed down the breed thing. I think I'll always have a retriever and a herder.

Oh dear. That is seriously tempting. I'll keep her for the first few months while she's still a cute little puppy then you can keep her during the crazy teenage stage? Then send her back once she's fully trained?

But the timing didn't work out... don't think I will be ready in 4 weeks lol. I kind of shot myself in the foot in this situation and it's really frustrating!

These things happen for a reason, right? It just means something more awesome is going to crop up when we ARE ready? This is what I tell myself at least.
