Everything in my life recently has fallen apart and I'm done. I have to move out of this fscking state and I need to do it quickly.

If anyone is looking to hire someone with an English major, excellent dog and people handling/trainig skills, moderate photography skills, extensive experience in the serving industry and prior experience as a receptionist, please contact me ASAP. I'm not afraid of hard work or getting dirty.

Willing to relocate anywhere.

I'd suggest moving to a big city and contacting a temp agency while you look for something more permanent. Temp jobs often turn into permanent ones anyway.

There are several joint doggy day care/training facilities around here that are hiring. You get your foot in the door as a day person, and can probably help with training before too long. (The receptionist piece would fit in well too).

The problem is you'd probably only make $10/hour...and living in the city costs more.

I have no money to buy. Until I know if I get my security deposit back from this house, I don't even have enough money for the deposits on a new rental.

Do you live near a place that you could do cat/dog sitting service? Here, where I live, you can make a load of money doing that!!

I do but I want to move. I've always had the feeling that I was going to be moving away this spring anyway but kept finding reasons to stay. I have no more reasons to stay.

I was like that one time in my life; I wanted to move to California, but never did because I had just met what was to become my husband of 22 years, when I was going to move to cali. Good thing I stayed, though, or I'd never have had my dear son or hub., so it was a happy ending and everyone lived happily ever after.

:D

Chicago? (Though honestly I hate Chicago.)

St. Louis? I'd say St. Louis. If you live a little outside the city, like St. Charles, it's fairly affordable. It's pretty dog friendly... and I like St. Louis!

Hmmm, i always said that if i was going to move for a job it would be to work here:
Best Friends Animal Society - Employment with Best Friends

its an amazing animal sanctuary, and I would guess they always need photographers, dog helpers, ect..

Plus, judging by the location living around there should be cheap

Best Friends Animal Society
5001 Angel Canyon Road
Kanab, Utah 84741-5000
Main phone: (435) 644-2001

They have a show called dog town but they also take in cats, birds, small animals, horses ect..

Im sorry for the situation :( I hope it gets better soon

It maybe a long shot, but give them a call, send an application you never know

I'm so sorry. :( I hope things work out for you.

I guess we're going to need to build a guest house above the barn..................

Zoom, as I've said before....Nationwide is an awesome place to work:D

Des Moines is a pretty nice place to live as well, you know people here, the recession isn't really affecting us at all, pretty dog friendly....

Take a look at the Nationwide website and look at the available jobs. You might find something you may be interested in:thumbup:

You should definitely move to Columbus. You can stay in my guest bedroom for a while, and you can easily find a job in Columbus. I might even know someone who needs a roommate soon. Columbus is an awesome city with a LOT of opportunities. I bet you could get a job at Nationwide where my brother works, they're still hiring, or the JP Morgan Chase call center where Justin works is still hiring as well. Entry level jobs at those places will pay about $30k. Cost of living here is not bad at all.

I'm going to go stay with my parents out in Denver for a little bit, at least a week, maybe longer, just to get things sorted. I need to get some money saved up before I can afford to do much else.

NRA, WC, I will keep those options in mind. :) Thanks.
