Just hanging out
Not a very cheerful day for Hyia. Damp and strange in the air too. I think we are officially between harnesses. The little one I think gets uncomfortable after a little while, the big one pulled her hair, so I guess we will just go viist Gg and work on car rides which she loves until she either gets bigger or I find something that works well. It's no fun if it is no fun for any of us. And I don't want to ruin a good start by trying too hard.

Not that she isn't doing that by leaps and bounds, we are staying close to home. Good for some exploring tho. And chasing grasshoppers and ants and grand daddy long legs. oh boy.

As to this Hyia, I do not think Sancho likes his costume. Elvis he is not.

I will do that. Sancho is not happy with me about the ear meds. !0 drops in each ear massage for a couple minutes has made me very unpopular with him right now. THe medicine is staining the inside of Ressie's ears blue. She is a whole lot better about it than he is on the whole process. 7 more days to go.
ONe aspect of fostering I didn't think about. It came home with them when the three spent the day trying to be adopted. They brought it back with them and it spread quickly.
Hyia has had a very hard week involving bullying and the musical .So far as I know she has quit. If she goes back, will have to be her decision. She has had a serious sad for days and days. She said when she was playing with Ressie, "she's good for both of us" and that's the truth. Kind of like playing with a fairy tale/Pegasus/unicorn too soft to be believable and so gentle. There is no toenails in any of her play. Sancho sure taught her well. She is certainly a sight for sore eyes for me. To see them play and here he laugh is just good medicine period.

I'm having a hard time getting our fosters from kitten milk to water. I only watered it down some. Also trying tor switch from canned food to softened kibble. They are refusing to eat. Guess I ' m going to have to cave and give them back their canned.
Sorry to hear Hyia quit the musical. Bullies suck It's good she has Ressie to come home to, sometimes (especially for her age) it's nice to be able to share secrets with a treasured pet. My Smokey heard many things noone else did. They just listen so well with no judging.

They just listen so well with no judging.Ressie is still eating her food soaked and a tiny bit warm, to which she says purrrrr. Sometimes she tries to swallow some of Sancho's kibble which is the same size as her kitten kibble. I just don't see how a stomach full of hard kibble is good for her.
Hyia is home, there is good news, she is back in the musical and there is peace in our land again. Things have been resolved for now. I pray it stays that way.

Thank you Zoom it is nice to see luna and to know they are happy with her in their home. Wonderful to see Huck and how fast he is growing. i wish I could see Mr. Clean and Ninja. Totally wonder how that last one is going. I haven't forgotten that kitten eye balling my mantle and how far it was from the chair.
I am glad someone does because obviously I can't wrench myself away from anyone this beautiful. I sure wish we could end this ear mite business. I wipe them out, but there is still traces. 6 more days to go with the meds.
I was trying to get a good pic of her whiskers over her eyes which are ridiculously wonderfully long, but very hard to get the right angle to make them show. I wonder how much of a mane she will get and if her cheek pads will be like Sancho's. I imagine Huck will have more hair than she will have. I still think she and Luna have the coolest pointy ears ever. Ninja had them too.

awwwww he loves you so. WE are getting some late night zoomies too. only Ressie prefers to race from one end of the piano to the other. SHe has Sancho to devil in the night.
still can't put my finger on what color her eyes really are. They are almost grey on the edges. There if for sure a darker gold area in one eye, but not green not gold..
still pretty.
Wonder if they will change anymore or if her points will come back or get darker, or fade away completely.

I'll give it a shot. I threw him a crumpled up piece of paper and that kept him occupied for a good long while. He's starting to initate play with Sawyer now and Sawyer is figuring out how to play with him in such a way that doesn't overwhelm Huck.
I clipped his nails way down in the front so we haven't had any more screen climbing stunts.

somebody is sleepy and doesn't care if her tail has become rainbow bright or not. She usually has fun with rainbow time. Now she is sleeping much more and growing like a weed.

Which is a shame because Ressie was having a really good time killing it dead. Pepper has had her squirrel and her horsie for 5 years now. The tugs with Neccy have been mighty hard on them, but she still loves them and stows them away so no one else can get them.
