How many times a day do you feed your dog?

I was talking to some people at my local dog food store and it made want to pose this question to the forum.

I've got him down to two meals, generally. Sometimes I'll give him three if I didn't feel I fed enough in those two meals, and sometimes only one when I feel I've fed too much.

Eve free feeds on kibble (though she's turning into a porker so we're going to be stopping that) and gets a raw meal once daily. Dakota is fed once a day and Dash is fed twice a day.

11 of my dogs are free fed, and Lucy (Chihuahua) is fed once a day. (Thats all she will eat).

mine are fed 2 times per day,
but as soon as the weather changes so does there activity level, that is what i base mine on, like when spring comes they will get 3 times a day.

my mom does the same she feeds hers MORE during the winter months because they are outside dogs.

i would base it all on the inside dog vs the outside dog thing if it were me, but, it also depends on there activity level.

2x's a day. he used to be free fed. But after our last dog passed away last year I started feeding him twice a day (also changed his food ect. I just took over and did alot of changes lol)

once a day. However, we leave his kibble in his bowl. He only gets one cup a day, but he doesn't eat it all at once, it will last him all day.
