I'll try and be aware of that instead of doing it so to please others wishes.
Just to clarify, I wasn't saying you were implying anything - that comment was just based on a recent.. and very big... misunderstanding of mine. A learning experience, I think. Maybe that's an overly positive outlook.

If you're going to call them by designer names in the future, my suggestion is to make up your own or explain what you mean by it. It requires knowing your audience - your average person wont care, of course, and a community like Chaz will, I think... and it's not to say that's fair you have to explain yourself. But there's just such a vehemently negative response to designer names for many people that it's probably safer to explain rather than get flamed.

Honestly, a lot of people don't realize the true definition of "puppy mill"... plus, a lot of Youtubers are ludicrously rude, and go around looking for drama. =< I would delete the comment, and put some kind of back-story in the description... such as, "Note: These puppies are the product of an accidental breeding, and the pups/the mom and dad are now altered," just to fend off people looking to start something.

The video is very cute. ;)

I'm not sure if you know or not, but when you post a video, you have the option of disabling comments. That way you don't have to deal with the YouTube trolls.

I was thinking the same thing...
yea, they both came with the name and my sister didn't want to change it [even though she's not the one taking care of her], so we kept it. They know their names, and they have nicknmes as well. The doxie I call her in a more high pitch voice since she's more active and a smoothing voice for the other one, the know by the tone of my voice. Its more confusing on humans than it is on them.

Some Youtube people are just annoying, they just want to start an arguement, so just disregard anything they say.
Okay you called the Shih Poos and that may lead to people thinking they were intentionally bred, but after all, they are shih poos! whether you call them poodle X Shi Tzu mixes or Shih Poos, who cares people!
If i was to adopt a dog from a shelter, that perhaps came from an oops litter, but it happened to be a cross between a labrador and a poodle... and people asked me what it was, well clearly it is a labradoodle! Or labrador/poodle cross, whatever you wanna call it, it's the same thing. That mix just happens to have a designer name.
If people assume i got it from a BYB or puppymill, i'll correct them. no hard feelings. Sheesh.
Basically what I'm saying is i find nothing wrong with you calling them shih poos, who really cares what a mix is labelled as. And the naive youtuber clearly doesn't know what a puppymill is. Sorry you had to go explaining yourself again.
:)
Oh, and the video is too cute!

The puppies look fine to me. The puppy mill suspecters must have suspected she was a puppy mill because of all of the different puppy videos.

Pffft! Do you run a puppy mill! That's priceless.
Okay first of all, those puppies are gorgeous. They look very healthy, and why would they be in a puppy mill if they were this clean//healthy? The pups aren't even in cages, they're on a bed. I think that user just was saying, "You shouldn't be having those puppies... you're exactly like a puppy mill" or something. Or they just know nothing about what puppy mills actually are and what they actually look like. Or maybe they saw how many dogs you have listed on your profile... wowww! And puppy mill "owners" don't take the time to video the pups, or describe them and name them!
But if you did run a puppy mill, I would buy all of them...
What? It doesn't sound that bad.
