I love Jaiden Rae.... that sounds lovely. I think I would wait until your baby is born and see which names fits better. Her personality may fit better with the name of Madison Rae, or with Jaiden Rae. You just never know. :)

My brother and his wife are having another boy and his name will be Connor James- has a nice ring.

If a boy... I would spell it Connor, with an O. Connor Ray sounds good.
If a girl... I would name her Jaiden Rae. I think that's really pretty... and not near as common of a name as Madison.

Just my opinion. You'll choose the right name. :)

I just took a look at the top most popular baby girl names are and Madison is number 3!!! I didnt want a really popular name. I was very surprised to see it on the top 10 list let alone number 3! I love that name so much though. grrr.

Jayden comes in at 243 on the list. Now I am leaning more towards that name, but my boyfriend insists we should choose Madison. It may take a while before I choose which one I want.

Other names that have been considered are Taylor and Tatum. Both of which are not on the top 10 list. I like the name Asia Rae, but my boyfriend hates it, lol.

I am so very confused!

So "Madison" has overtaken "Caitlin". Thank heavens for the change. If I meet one more 12 year old named Caitlin, I shall go mad. I know teachers who have had five or six of them in the same class. In the next era, it will be Madison, then. THen there was that rash of planetary names that I am sure kids are having trouble with now. How many Star's did you know 15 years ago? It's always good to think ahead about how the name you give your child will affect him or her later on in life. I mean naming your kid Robin Banks is not going to yield a successful person in the financial industry...

Reggin, my sister's middle name is Ray, but my mom spelled it "Rhea". Just a thought for you. :D

ETA: You could also spell it Rhae?

Don't mind me, my mom was into spelling our names quite differently (so that not everyone has it). I was named after my grandma Jean. My middle name is Janay only spelled "Jeanae".

If you like different names Reggin (not sure if you are into that or not), my cousin has 2 boys and their names are Deizel and Carter.

Jayden comes in at 243 on the list.
I would expect that to be higher. Seems the new fad is taking "aiden" and putting a letter in front of it...Rayden, Hayden, Kayden, etc.

I've never really seen the name Madison used a lot, surprisingly. I only know two people with the name--one of them goes by Maddie and the other doesn't shorten it.

Just hope it is a boy, that way you don't have to worry about girl names... since you already have a boy name set it stone.

haha, :)

I love Jaiden, although it's a little odd with Rae.

Maddi Rae sounds really nice, though. :D No one will be named the same thing as her if her middle name is used like a first name. I have a friend Sara Jane (SJ).. two very common names put together make an unmistakable one. Everyone knows who you're talking about when you ask for SJ.

I like Maddi Rae too. I used to work in preschools and daycares, Madison is really common in that age group, but that's not always a bad thing. Really it's a lovely name.

Oooooh, sorry for butting in all the time with different names (not like I don't like the ones you picked but just in case you want different ones.)

I have a cousin named Jacksyn. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that name...it helps out that she is the most adorable little girl too!

I also have a cousin named Connor. At first I didn't really like the name but now it has really grown on me.

My nephew's name is Jayden Wright. And I used to know a girl named Raylene, which I always thought was cool.

That's cute! I love the name Summer, and I think "Rae" would go great with that as well. lol.
Summer is actually another name I thought about but my boyfriend hates it, lol.

SAVE- I think the spelling "Rhae" is really cute and unique.

Yeah, ever since I found out I was pregnant I always have thought its gonna be a boy. Not sure why. I have even been getting boy clothing. If its a girl, I will have to start all over and get girl clothes, lol.

Years before I became prego I always knew that if I have a boy some day his name is going to be Connor. Ever since I was 15!

But its always nice to have a girl name just in case I am wrong, lol.

I like names that are spelled the traditional way. My 12-year-old niece's name was spelled Stefenny & she hates it, because she keeps having to correct people when they spell her name, and that she can never find anything premade with her name on it. (like those cute keychain, or picture frames, or something like that)

So, I like Madison Ray :)
