I don't get my next ultrasound until the 8th of next month and I still don't know if I am going to have a boy or girl. Already have a boy name picked out... Conner Ray. Not sure if I should spell it as Conner or Connor. Which do you like?

As for a girl, I have two names picked out. Madison or Jayden/ Jaiden/ Jaden. My father passed away a month before I became pregnant. I want to name my child after him whether I have a boy or girl. My fathers middle name was Ray. If I have a girl I want to use Ray as her middle name, but not sure If I should spell it as Ray or Rey.

Any ideas for a girl name? Please help! If you prefer Jayden, then what spelling should I use?

The last name will be Wright, by the way. :)

Guess I'm the odd ball that likes Jayden. Probably because my niece is Madison and she's one of a kind :p They are both good names.

They are the only two names my boyfriend and I can agree on, lol. We are both picky I guess, but I love both of them. I go back and forth.

LOL! There are so many Madisons and Jaydens around here that I think it's becoming a requirement that they be permanently numbered  And I don't want to think about all the boy babies named "Peyton."

I can just see Jayden being shortened to Jay..

Jay Ray doesn't sit well with me :D

I love Madison.... Or Maddy.

Maddy Rae is lovely :)

And I prefer it Connor.

I think Madison Rae flows better than Jaiden Rae. BUT--I will tell you for sure, if you DON'T like the nickname Maddy--then don't use the name Madison. It is inevitable--no matter how hard you try--she will get called Maddy. If you like it--then no prob--but if you don't, then rethink it. I work in preschool--lots of Jaiden's and Madison's lately!

Sooooooooooo many Madisons here !!! Why not work Ray into her first name ??? Girls usually drop their middle names when they marry ....Raegen , Raedean , Raelynn , Raenee , etc etc.

Haha, good point. Jay Ray is a little on the weird side.

I've always heard Jayden/Jaiden/Jaden as a boy name, so I automatically lean towards Madison.

I like Conner Ray. and Madison Rae.
