Buddy is having another flare up and we have him on meds, but he won't stop licking, licking, licking. ARGH. Poor Guy! I don't know what to do for him. *cries*
This is what we do for Kassie when she starts licking her paws, and she'll lick till it's blood raw. I wrap it with vet wrap and it helps to keep it in place.
Ah no Nicole not again. That poor baby. When oh when is it going to stop for him. Such a lover of live and a giver and always getting something like this it just is not fair. My poor Buddy. Give him a monster hug and kisses for me poor little guy darn it.
Awwwww….. I am so sorry. I have an allergy boy too that licks his paws till they are raw from grass allergies during the summer. We got some stuff by DVM Pharmaceuticals called “relief Spray†(many vets offices carry it) and it works well. For us the biggest things are keeping his feet rinsed after walking on grass, and actually strong tea helps with the inflammation and itching. You can dip the feet in the cool tea.
Also, have you tried the sock idea but with the vetwrap up the ankle to keep it in place better like Giny mentioned?

Yes, the sneaky boy learned from his sister how to get that stuff off right quick, lol. I mean, I'm glad he's smart, but c'mon! I'm trying to help him here.
I'll try the tea thing. Im actually not sure what is aggravating him about his feet- I need to do more investigating.
