Hey everyone!
I still need a little bit of advice. I am having trouble with Hazel, and I am just so frustrated right now!
No matter what I do I can't seem to get her to stop jumping on me. I've tried turning away from her and ignoring her. That isn't working. She just starts jumping on my back, and tries to get back in front of me. If I try to knee her in the chest, I end up kneeing her in the face because of the way she jumps on me. If she's on the other designated dog bed she flies at me like a panther of some sort. This is getting ridiculous! I've tried "NO JUMP!" in a firm voice but she doesn't want to listen. She has a leash on 24 hours a day so I can stop her, and make her sit.
I've tried a trainer.. advice isn't working.
Her jumping is a problem because I can't trust her around my sisters son.
I was talking on the phone with my sister and she full on jumps on me like a panther and knocks me over(nearly spraining my wrist)
I am afraid that this is going to get dangerous.
I am signing up for obedience this friday(or as soon as they start anyways)
I don't want to give up on her. She's had a rough life, but I am getting to the point where if I can't fix this problem than something is going to have to be done..
*sighs* Maybe I just don't know what I am doing!
Thea
