No. But I would, there has just never been the time.

I also don't think it would be as fun, though. To me, the movies are a place to go with friends. If I wanted to be alone, I would go somewhere to think, not be around loud noise.

Sure, I do it all the time. Sometimes when I'm on the road and have an evening to kill I do it just because I can expense it :D For the most part, if there is a movie I'm interested in and nobody else in the family wants to see it, I'll go catch a late showing after everyone is in bed. I don't sleep anyway (maybe 3 to 4 hours a night on average), so it gives me something to do.

Yes I have gone by myself and I would again if no one else could go.

If there is something I really want to see and DH is not home and my sister is busy, then I don't mind going by myself.

Sure. Three times. All with the same person (who was supposed to go but backed out at the last minute). Don't go to the movies with that person any more lol.

But if it were a movie I wanted to see and no one else did, I'd have no problems going alone. Not a big deal.

Many times, especially when I was involved with someone who refused to see the movies I wanted to see. My policy is I pick the movie one time, she picks it the next. I see movies I don't want to see, and so does she. But a couple of times, the woman I was involved with didn't want to co-operate, and refused to see something I wanted to see, so I just went by myself. I even have gone to a drive in a few times by myself (with my dogs).

I don't like the movies. Someone is always talking, or rustling packets or generally being annoying.

I havent yet, but I would have no problem going. Just finding the time to go is my biggest hurdle currently lol.

Infact, I may do that today! LOL

Nope. I use going to the movies as a way to hang out with my friends that I don't see often enough anyway with work and other important priorities. So when I do go to the movies, I always take a friend along. I LOVE seeing movies, and so does my friend so we usually go once a week, sometimes every other week.
