I went on a date, he wanted to cook dinner and then to a festival. Well we had dinner, and it was raining so I wasn't going to go and neither were any of my friends who were planning on meeting me. I suggested a movie, he suggests sex... left him and went alone. :lol-sign:

But I've never understood people who are embarrassed to go alone. It's just a movie, sometimes I RATHER go alone then with friends

Yes I have and yes I would again.

I saw blade 3 and the first AVP movie by myself. Went during work hours while the network was down for both those.

I haven't and I probably wouldn't.

I just don't think it'd be as much fun alone. But I really don't like going anywhere alone... I won't go shopping alone because I just feel weird walking around by myself. But that's just me.

I've never gone to the theatre alone... I don't think I'd have an issue with going alone, though, if I wanted to go during the day. It's not something I'd seek out, because I'd rather sit at home alone and do something if I had to.

Yup. It's the best way to go most of the time . . . like going out to a restaurant. I'd rather go with a good book than with another human being 98% of the time.

If I REALLY wanted to see the movie, I might go alone...But I would prolly just wait till it came out on DVD..lol

It wouldn't be because I was embarrassed to go alone, I like to just say home as it is anyways...LOL

Oh yeah. The first time I just couldn`t find anyone to go with me but I really wanted to go. It was nice and I didn`t feel `weird` at all. And I really enjoyed the movie. Since then, I just go if I want to go! With or without people. Although these days I take Fiona with me lol. She gets to go for free and sleeps through about half and plays through the other half. She saw sex and the city with me and laughed when everyone else did only delayed. Which made people laugh again.

I went years ago when Tom was in basic camp in Kansas . Lived alone , no TV and bored to tears . Didn't know a soul . Saw every movie in town every week . I refuse to go to any movies anymore ,,,,unless someone pays my way and buys me popcorn and milk duds ! Prices way too high for the " entertainment " .

I've definitely gone alone a lot. And I did just a few months ago again. Going with people is just not very practical nowadays The main reason I don't go much anymore is because of the price though.

ugh yeah the price. I usually go on matinee days or tuesdays when it`s cheap. Here it`s `reasonable`at about $6 a head

Yes, only once before and I'd probably do it again.

When we first moved to Maine our son was only 2yrs old and we didn't know enough people to leave him with to be babysat. I really wanted to go see The Titanic so I went alone while hubby stayed home with our son. It was ok though I'd rather go with someone then go alone. I love talking about the movie afterward and sharing our feelings about it.

I haven't been in years and I have never gone alone. Would I? I don't know. I think I would rent a movie and sit at home alone instead, but I'm not big into movies either.

Yep, I went to see the last Harry Potter movie alone. It's no big deal. I wanted to see a matinee and really wanted to see the movie.

I really don't go to the cinema anymore..........I just wait for the dvd, LOL

I am basically a homebody and like stretching out on the couch or bed to watch a good movie
