Do you have a breed that you love, but don't like to admit that you love and doubt seriously that you would ever own?

Dalmatians.

I freaking LOVE them! Like seriously! They're so beautiful. I'm a sucker for spots.

(yes, I hotlinked. Sue me.)

Your turn!

I have gotten some funny looks from people in the past for bringing up Dalmatians, but I think it's pretty much only because of the stigma caused by the insane amounts of poor breeding that was done after the movies. I just need to learn how to stand up for them! I haven't met many in person, so it's hard to say how great they are when people act that way though.

Vanilla I say if they fit and you want one GO FOR IT! And no I'm not just saying that because I'm biased. I am but thats besides the point. LOL In reality they are great dogs.

Oh I can think of all kinds of breeds that I love that I wouldn't own. English Mastiffs are so cool. Great Danes I love too. But they don't have a very good life expectancy, plus, they're just soooooooooo BIG! LOL. I think Dals are gorgeous and seem so joyful. I could go on and on about breeds I love that just wouldn't be quite right for me now. Some breeds I have owned and love, but wouldn't own now. Life styles change over time and sometimes the practicality of what breed to own changes too.

Pitties. I know there's nothing wrong with them, but you know how everyone else is! I always said I WILL own one someday, but now I don't know if I'd be right for them.

Poodles.

I used to dislike them because they are always portrayed as the dog of rich snobs, dogs that never do anything except lay around and get pampered. Then I learned they were bred as hunting dogs and are extremely intelligent and don't need the over the top hair cuts, so I like them quite a bit now.

I want a chinese crested...It is a secret because I would want a female and dress her in girly clothes,,I think it is because I am outnumbered in my household full of males. Ranger would probably love her too! Maybe one day and I would get my own pink bathroom and a closet without sports stuff...
Hey Vanilla, Milly call me sometime.. I have an opportunity that might interest you!

Hmmm can't think of any I love but don't want to admit to. I'm assuming I can't deny papillons ever but they're really my 'off the wall' breed. The others all kind of make more sense.

I have to say the Standard Poodle. I would love to own one someday, but I know that would bever happen. Another is a Pit. I would love one, but I realized that one would not fit in my lifestyle and It would just be too much if I had to deal with kennel and rotate. Sigh*

Oh, Elegy, Frenchies are a good one! So freaking cute.

Also, for me, labradoodles. I think they are adorable -- this really is a guilty pleasure!

There are other breeds, like dobermans and APBTs, that I love, but I don't think they are right for my life. I don't feel guilty about liking them so much, though!
