I find that people that possess good communication skills don't need to rely on graphic images to get their message across. if you feel that you NEED the graphics, then by all means leave. we are an intelligent group of people, and discussions are welcomed. if that isn't enough for you........then goodbye.

Using a title line such as Animal Abuse (Graphic Pics) or Animal Abuse (Adult Content) should work well in these cases. It gives the reader an option on viewing or not. Not everyone is interested in reading graphic posts and a warning in the title line would help in their decision without revealing much about the contents. As for the young ones, they should never be left alone while on the internet, a parent should be there with them to monitor what they are doing. It should be part and parcel of allowing our children access to such a powerful tool as the internet.

I am sorry, I have had issues in my own life to see or read your posts!

I believe that there is a hole load of abuse, going on and it will continue. Yes some one needs to be the voice, but again some people can't.

That does not mean that what you are doing is not getting attention, it just means that, some people can not handle what is being sent!

Sure you can send a pic and it is nasty, It make some mad and angry, and it makes others sick to thier stomach. So I am sorry I have not had time to read what you sent. But as others have said if you are going to leave, Leave don't make others feel bad about it! If anything you kinda turned the anger of what you are doing in the wrong direction!

I think it is wonderful what you do and spread the word of what really happens out there. Not everyone who owns animals is loving and caring as we all know. Please stay puppybreath and spread your word! And I'm sorry but being a mother of a young child myself as she gets older I will monitor what she is reviewing on the internet and won't leave her unattended until she is much older than 13, 14, and even 15. Parents today need to know what there kids are up to on-line. I think that some of the subject matter on here whether it is in regards to animal abuse or everyday life for chazzers should be monitered by an adult if your children read the forum. Parental advisory suggested *wink*

I think that just about anything you post here has the ability to offend someone. I don't think its fair to lock a post because one or two people are offended. The title of the thread was stated every clearly and should not have been opened by someone who was so offended by the content.

If you don't allow your children to view the news forum then please keep them away from the news on here and from any news site like cnn because the news is not going to stop telling the truth and educating people for the sake of not offending someone.

Personally, I never open these threads except to skip the OP and read the responses...and even that's a rarity for me.
I honestly find that often times they are so horrible that I can't get them out of my mind and I'm just left feeling helpless, angry and lousy.

I do however find that the links allowing us to sign petitions and actually be part of the solution are more appropriate...those I'll always open, read and possibly sign.

I deal with cruelty everday in my work. I come to Chaz to celebrate, along with other passionate dog lovers, the bond we have and the joy we feel with our dogs. This is also a great place to help other dog owners when I can and to get advise on things from others on here with wonderful information to share.

I'm sorry that you feel you need to leave...this is really a great place.

agreed..i have the petitions e-mailed to me by several lists that i am on. That doens't mean i want to deal with the blow by blow details. I am fully awares of the evil that lurks this earth. I also believe the same people will always end up signing the petitions which frankly if you have no money to donate, is all ther is left to do,,,the rest just look the other way.
