She's going to see a specialist on the 31st for an ultrasound. All fingers and toes crossed that everything is okay, although that would be expensive peace of mind. :p

I'm bringing her to the emergency clinic today...she looks like hell and has a swollen lymph node and I can't wait 4 days. :(

Thanks guys.

They aspirated her lymph node - I wasn't crazy and imagining it - but he's 75% sure he didn't see anything cancerous there. He's going to have someone else look and confirm, though. So, next step is an ultrasound. I had to leave her there because they don't know when they'll be able to do it.

The nice thing is that since this ER is connected to the specialty center we were going to, they had her records since we faxed them over for her appt... made it easier because I was a little flustered and was forgetting details. =p

Oh no :( Hope they find something, and that it is easily fixable! Nothing worse than not knowing what's going on.

The ultrasound, for me at least, wasn't horribly revealing - only thing that can be said is that there is thickening of the small intestines. Maybe that means more to them but to me it doesn't tell me a whole lot lol. But everything else looked okay so I guess that's good.

Sooo basically my options were to "keep doing what I'm doing" or keep the appointment I have on the 31st and have an endoscopy/biopsies done. Considering that "doing what I'm doing" hasn't been working the past 3 weeks, seems logical to me that I should just go ahead with the endoscopy.

Today's visit was mostly just peace of mind! I knew once I felt that lymph node last night, there was no way I was going to be able to just wait on it. It was going to eat away at me.
