So I am watching the Oprah show--and they are doing "handbag makeovers"--among other fashion makeovers. Makes me wonder...since I am such a function person, and could care less about the fashion end of it. So where do you stand?

function lol.

when I was younger it was "fashion". I could wear high heels all day long and never admit that my feet hurt... bras that pushed my boobs up to my chin etc etc LOL that's why I say "fashion" cause I've never really been fashionable lol.

but now... totaly function and comfort. Always running shoes... I can't chase down a toddler in heels. I can barely catch her in running shoes :rofl1:

I said a little of both... I am going to wear what is comfortable and functional... but at the same time not going to wear something completely ugly. I do have to see myself in it, after all

A little of both :) but more fashion than function

I keep up with trends and always try to look my best and I WILL NOT wear ugly shoes or clothes in public regardless of how "comfortable" they are. (pajamas, crocs, sweats, etc.. etc..)

but then again, im not one of those girls that will buy something because its in fashion if I dont like it. I have a personal style and I stick to it.. im not going to wear something just because a magazine tells me too. but if I see something and I like it, ill get it :)

Oh and I wont wear something thats in fashion if within 5 minutes of wearing it im going to be in total agony! lol :rofl1: somethings I will sacrifice comfort for...
heels for example. I love em love em love em, are they comfy? no. but im not in total agony and I love wearing them :)

I have a personal style. Its simple yet fun...and I like it. Fashion and clothes ARE important to me.. but I beleive in dressing APPROPRIATELY for situations

like im not going to wear an evening gown horseback riding or camping lol sometimes jeans, a tshirt and my sneakers are really all it takes :) and with the right jeans and right tshirt and right sneakers, that can CERTAINLY be fashionable and pretty :)

as for functional. if its ugly but functional.. im still not wearing it :rofl1: well.. not in public lol

I"m total function. Now, I won't wear something that *I* deem ugly... but that doesn't make in the least bit fashionable. LOL.

Uh, yeah. Pretty much I wear what I own :lol-sign: Jeans, sneakers, and a tshirt pretty much every day.

I do need some new pants (mine are about 12 sizes too big and I look so gangta :p), and I'd love to have some nicer clothes, but it's just not in my budget right now.

Usually it has to be both comfortable AND fashionable.

Although I do have a great pair of peep toe heels that are not comfortable AT ALL, I literally cant walk by the end of the night but they are super cute and I do wear them on special occasions, lol.

I mostly care about function and comfort. I have no fashion sense whatsoever, haha. I mean, I don't wear anything I think is ugly as I do like to look decent, but it's probably not considered fashionable either. I'm just a jeans and t-shirt kind of a person. I try to get jeans and shirts that have some style to them though, so that I don't look completely boring.

Ok well... I guess a bit of both. I mean I won't wear my PJ's out in public or anything LOL

but you will rarely find me in anything other than jeans or shorts/capri's in the summer with a short sleeved top.

One word... Lululemon. If i didn't have to wear any other pants but lulus, i'd be a happy girl!

Does that count as comfort? Coz they're fashionable here too lol.

I've got my own version of style, I suppose, and part of it is a modicum of comfort, but it does have to be at least somewhat flattering -- or at least have a neckline that keeps most people from noticing if it's not :rofl1:

Definitely function. Now you know why I tend to buy men's sweatshirts, etc and workboots. Can you see me doing recess duty in boots with heels? It took me years to find functional workboots that in women's sizes (think construction site).

At my age I dress for the occasion with what I have on hand . I may combine new slacks with a 40 yr old jacket ! Personally I think new shoe and purse styles way to expensive .
