Oh come on... you don't want to trip in heels and fall down cliffs? :rofl1:
No, guess I'm just funny like that -==sigh==- no sense of adventure.
Nope ... da man is the one who enjoys hanging off cliffs, he's a rock climber. He once lived in a tent in Yosemite for over two years; there's still a group of hard-core climbers that live there. Glad he got
that part out of his system before we met!!
Told him just that, and he says in that hurt puppy voice they sometimes get: "Huh? You wouldn't have lived in my tent with me in Yosemite??"
Ummm ... no. :lol-sign:
My purse has to have a strap that will fit over my shoulder. None of those hand bags or anything like that. Don't care if it's cute or not, must go over the shoulder easily and must have a zipper.
^^^ That!! Function when it comes to bags. Can't stand any that have those little upside-down horseshoe-shaped handles on top that can only be carried by one hand.
And zippers are more secure ... things don't fall out and it makes bags less of a target for pickpockets. (Not that there's many of those where I live now ... but
still got that NYC "every compartment's gotta have a zipper" mentality ... and still carry my bag so that it hangs in the front where I can see it.)
I can't wear heels period. Bad ankle. I try occasionally but I can feel my ankle trying to break.
Bad ankle here too (snapped Achilles from gymnastics, ouch, and repairs are never as good as new.) ... but find the opposite. Walking around a lot in flats makes it sore later. So I always wear some type of heel ... including thick-soled sneakers and hiking boots with thick soles with a built-up heel. Probably dependent on nature of original injury though.
There's a wallet thread that I stalk on one forum I'm on.
Wallet stalking?? OK, that's just weird.
