The Kraskis appear a little smaller but still just as cute!!! Does your country have any Sylvans? That''s another breed I''ve really taken to. I''m assuming you live somewhere around Serbia? I know the dogs are very popular to that area especially the mountainous regions where they are still worked as LGDs.
Yeah it is a little smaller, but a very powerful dog with a lot of character ;) . I actually don't live close to Serbia, I live in the Alps in a country called Slovenia (bordering Hungary, Croatia, Italy and Austria). The dog that you like however does come from Serbia and some breeders in my country imported this adorable breed. :)

Yup :) My boyfriend is from Serbia, he tells me about the dogs his grandfather used to have and the stories of them protecting the flock are amazing!!! Have you ever seen that one video from 1957 with the one Sar protecting the flock of sheep from attacking wolves? It''s something else!

I wish I saw the video :) .... I know those dogs can be so amazing. They are domestic animals, but you can never consider them completely subordinate. They have a mind of their own and sometimes it seems like they don't need any guidance at all. It's as if they already know what to do and they'd feel really offended if people doubted their actions.

That''s so true! I''m really hoping to own one some day. Would love a light grey one. I know of one named Solo who''s the exact light grey I want but the colour is sooooo rare it''s very unlikely I''d come across one. Ah well I'';d be happy with any one
