Fajita's Puppies!! and PHOTOS!
I just wanted to thank everyone that gave me support and advice in my other thread, "breeding my chihuahuas". Incase you havent caught up with the thread, I was unable to find a vet that would perform an abortion w/ how far along she was, and x-rays revealed what my vet believed to be at one point a fractured elbow. he said it was most likely accidental, so without much choice i went on and had the puppies. I am keeping one and the other is going to a family member.
I just wanted to let everyone know that everything is going great. the puppies are gaining alot of weight and fajita is doing really well. she isnt eating alot of solid food, but i have her drinking a mixture of goat milk, mayo, karo syrup, egg and plain yogurt when she wont eat food. I think the reason she isnt eating much is because she is "holding out" for the milk. The first few days after birth it was just about all she would eat/drink so i think she got stuck on it. ive began to wean her off of it, so she is having iams hard puppy food and then rotating that with the milk mixture.
I figured out how to post pictures, so i wanted to share pictures with all the wonderfully helpful people that helped me along the way. I understand all the warnings now! its been rough and we only have one week and a few days under our belts, but everyone is healthy as ever. If it were more than two puppies i dont know how i would have handled it!!!!
edit< i thought i figured it out- im still working it out (the pictures)
