he on the other hand could keep we warm at night with his body heat and fur, protect me from anything that was a danger to me and possibly help me hunt for stuff(which I'm sure he'd take huge pride in doing lmao)

ok me too,but just say theres just you two in a boat in the middle of the sea and day by day you`re both getting thinner and theres no other way to get food and if your dog dies first you might as well eat it.after all it`s probly what they would want anyway.works they same both ways,if I died first I`d expect Lena or Rolo to tuck in.

Put it this way. I'd eat raw fish first. And I don't like the taste of fish.

I wouldn't starve, there's no way I could ever starve, there are so many resources to eat from. Rocky's my boy, I'd never eat him.

NO!!! I'd consume my horses NOT my dogs!!! Consider that the horses are considerably more expensive too!!! During survival training in the military, I recall eating assorted bugs, lizards, mice, wild plants, etc.---rather tasty and nourishing!!! YUM!!!!!

Well, let's see... from a survival standpoint, I'd be stupid to eat Dakota. He is a good hunter and would protect me if necessary. I'm sure that with a little demonstration, I could teach him to catch fish, too.
Ripley.. what would be the use in eating him anyway? There's practically nothing on him. He's just skin, bones and organs.

Seriously though, if I had no other choice but to eat one of my dogs or starve, I think I'd starve. I would do a lot to survive, but if it came down to killing and eating my devoted partners, I don't think I could do it.
