Maverick is missing. He got out when my husband left for work and I haven't seen him since. I have been driving around all day asking people if they saw him and have called the local shelters and they haven't seen him. He has his tags and collar on so hopefully he'll go to someone and they can contact me. Sorry, I was just hoping he'd come home after awhile when he got hungry or tired and he hasn't. I didn't mean to send you guys any bad news and yes I know I'm a bad dog owner please don't state the obvious I feel bad enough.

You're not a bad dog-owner, not at all. Things like this happen; believe me I was in your shoes a while ago, and if you ever want to talk, just do it. It'd be nice to connect with someone who shares similar problems with their dogs.

I pray that Maverick comes back; good luck... these things happen.

thanks. I hope he comes back tonight. I left the lights on for him and even the neighbors are looking for him too. I called the police and gave them a picture so they will be on the lookout for him tonight as well.

No unfortunetely he doesn't. We have our other dog microchipped, but it was done when she was spayed. We were going to get him done too while he was being neutered, but he hasn't gotten neutered yet. I am very worried, it's dark outside and there are racoons and animals that could hurt him out now. I know out in back of our house there is a rabid looking racoon. He always walks around and he is staggering and very gross looking. I hope he'll be ok tonight and someone has found him and is taking care of him and is going to call us in the morning. He is registered with getmehome.com so if whoever finds him has a computer they can put in his id number and get our phone number.

I wish the best of luck from now on Julie and hope Maverick finds his way.
Thank you. I hope that Maverick finds his way back here as well. Or atleast if he doesn't find his way here atleast to someone who will love him and be good to him. Sorry, my husband has been putting the bad thought in my head that he may not come back. I'm an optimist though and there is still a chance.

Aww! At least no one stole him out of your yard! I will get calls like that at the registry that I work at and it makes me really mad! What kind of dog is he? I hope they do! If they don't that would be selfish. :(

I hope you don't make your husband suffer when you kill him! And I sure hope Maverick makes it home quickly and safely. Crapola happens to the best of us at one time or another. Has nothing to do with our caliber as dog owners.....has more to do with rotten luck. Tell your hubby he better pray Maverick comes home because you can't afford a very fancy funeral for him at this point in time, rofl, and you are too young to be a widow!!!!
