DRAMA!! My dog's bad bum chapter one.

Wow this is all absurd!!

Right now I am just starting Blue in basic OB. Seriously the dog only knows "sit". And guess what? TEENY IS IN HEAT AND IS IN THE SAME ROOM (in a crate). I train my dogs to be able to withstand any distractions, and if that distraction includes a female in heat then so be it. At the DSO they have been known to allow females in heat to go out and mark the field prior to the trial.

As Dekka stated, I would NEVER want to run a female in heat for any reason. They're awfully douchy and it's just not worth my trouble. But if someone did run a female in heat I expect both my male and my female to get over it quickly and move along with what is expected. People need to get over themselves.

I'm looking forward to chapter 4.

Dekka, that sucks. I would have made a fuss simply because it would've made me and my dog look badly. Whoever complained is obviously a sore loser..

OMG, if you only knew this group, I can't stand them on ANY level and they know it.
Of course they are threatened, Dekka's dog or my dog could beat them with TWO broken legs because their dogs are SOOOOOOOO SLOW!!

And to think that I was considering joining that club again, thanks but no thanks I'll go south of the border like I did years ago to play with the Jrts if I want to play jrt events again.
The BOD NEEDS it's a$$ kicked for allowing this to happen or at the very least to let it continue.

Although from this little stink, maybe there is a great solution........hire a Vet for each day of a Trial especially NATIONALS and have EVERY B*tch on the grounds checked and cleared by the vet. Therefore then the entries go up to pay for the vet, problem solved, stop the bit*hing, whining and sore LOSERS.

Chapter 4

So these people keep pushing and pushing weeks later.

Then the person with the stud dogs says "In my opinion Dekka would have stood for a breeding" They start telling EVERYONE who will listen in the club that I ran Dekka in the trials while she was in heat. Great.

The person decides to file a formal complaint and pay their 25 dollars. How this works is that if your complaint is found to be valid you get your money back.

The BOD rules that the complaint is not valid (lucky for them or they would be overturning the ruling of 3 judges, and all over the premiums it says the judges decision shall be final) But they decide to refund her money anyway!!?? So what message does that send? (other than the BOD is unable to make a real decision) People will think that Dekka was in heat, but because we are 'who we are' the club wouldn't make a stand. That IMO makes us and the board look bad.

We get told that it was bad I should have known better and just pulled as soon as there was a complaint. So I sent an email asking for clarification that if someone accuses any of my girls of being in heat am I just to pull and eat the entries. I have had at least 10 emails sent my way about this none have answered this. I have repeatedly asked what will happen in the future and how this should be handled.

They can't even bother to reply.

I ask if I should bother to show up at nationals this weekend. No reply. (tho the trial chair said she would gladly refund our entries considering)

I asked why my dogs 'bum' was such a big deal and why no one cared about the major entry/results screw up. I am told that the entry issue isn't a big deal, and that by knowingly running a dog in heat I broke the club rules.. WTF?!? How is my dog in heat. How could these people think I would do that. I have known these people for years now. (guess I didn't know them as well as I thought )

The emails from the BOD pres have said what GR apparently said about Dekka's willingness to stand. Neither Kerri nor Mark has talked to her. They are starting to think maybe they should as maybe what she said has been twisted. But she's a nice lady who never wants to say anything bad about anyone.. and maybe she was ambiguous..

I know how nice she is, I have known her for years. That is why I asked the question. This doesn't sound like something she would say on any level. Not to mention her experience as a breeder, I highly doubt she would be black and white on whether Dekka was in heat or not with such a test. Something isn't ringing true, they need to talk to her and asap in my opinion.

Whoa..... Been a while since I played and this makes me not miss it.... I still smart about Mindy's ripped off National Reserve Champion in racing one year (I should have fought it but did not want to "Cause Trouble"... wish I could take that back now on principal alone)... I don't know any of this story but it all sounds very familiar, sadly....

Uh, OMG Kerri, what the hell? That's not right. I saw decka on Sat. I saw no signs of heat. Who's inspecting that closely, especially if there is no discharge??? I really haven't a clue who complained (I'm really bad with names and remembering who the heck was there), but I disagree with what they're doing. Brandy showed no interest in her, and we've been around females in heat, and Brandy has always shown some interest.
I do know that the computer went down part of the day, was trying to help our "agility woman" fix it, there was some issues with file transfers. PM me if you want more info, or if you need a hand, or voice in anything. It's a shame something like this had to happen...I enjoy the trials, there lots of fun, but this just takes away the fun. Please come to Nationals...at least on the Sunday
