Yey! dookie is 100%. He has been for a couple of days now. We already bleached pretty much the whole house, the drive way and saturday the lawn is getting some treatement. Dookie's got about another 4 days in confinment than our vet said he could go out. My mom took him to the vet cuz i was working, but she told me after the vet saw the report that the critical care center gave us after leaving against medical advice, she asked if he was still alive, and when my mom said yes, she was shocked and said it was a miracle.
Dookie had 5.5 blood cells when we took him, when we brought him home due to finances, he had 900. It was something like 1/6 of the white blood cells he should've had. So the doctors all thought it was unlikely he would survive.
Thanks to sacrifices on my part and my mother and brother, we were able to pull him out of it. All he needed was hugs from his family and care.
I honestly think if he stayed in the hospital he would have died from depression. When I first picked him up from the shelter, I spent the first 2-3 weeks with him 24/7 because I had no job. And to suddenly be left in a cold and quite place all lonely in isolation, I think it would've killed him.
Thanks to all of you who prayed and kept hoping.
