Nope. Dance doesn't appreciate extremely cold weather any more than I do, and Calgary is a very cold place in the winter. Instead, we play in the house and/or take her to a pet store or something where it's warm. In the summer I don't walk them much at all either. It's too hot. Instead we play in the yard where the pool is, or we go on a trip to the river. When it's raining I'll go as long as it isn't really cold. I actually like walking in the rain. And of course, whenever the weather is nice, we go.

Thunderstorms and stuff, no. We all like walking in the rain, though, particularly Millie and me. If the dogs are game for it and the weather isn't dangerous we usually go. I am more cautious after it rains, though, because we get poisonous toads that blend into the ground really well.

Mostly... she loves the snow so we take her out in that. Don't take her in the rain because she hates it and acts all weird and twitchy the whole time. In summer we don't take her out in the heat of the day as she gets hot really easily -- usually take her after dinner. If it's bitter freezing cold, probably not, which sucks cause it leads to a hyper dog, but we just got her a nice new coat so we'll see what she can tolerate as the cold comes in.

I don't walk them in extreme heat, but everything else, yes.

Pouring rain, snow, sleet, mud, everything. I'd much rather walk them in horrible conditions than be trapped inside with three under-exercised huskies.

I've been jogging with two dogs at a time lately. If it's pouring rain, I'll only take one, for safety reasons. They don't like the rain, but I don't really care. :D Mochi will even hide when I get his harness out sometimes. But, it's in their best interests to go out. And mine. You should hear this awful squeak Mochi does when he's being a rowdy brat!

Has anyone tried to walk a Dobe when its raining? Mine is such a baby. He whines, shakes and tries to walk on tippytoes to avoid getting his feet wet. Such a whimp...the Border collies on the other hand never seem to care what the weather is like.

We have been bundling up the last couple weeks and braving the cold/wind/rain. The only time we won't take her out is when there is a deluge outside.

99% yes, if only for short distances.

Extreme heat and cold will greatly shorten distance.
Rain and Snow won't because I live near to large span bridges and we just go for a walk and play time under them :D

I have on occasions of extreme cold just let them out to do business and then come back. Athena got a little frostbite on her ear during a walk and ever since If it is -5 and windy....we don't walk more than 5 minutes.

With extreme heat I just carry lots of water and keep soaking their backs. Plus I walk them real early or real late to avoid the sun.

Not in the rain. I can barely get her out the door to potty when it's raining. Snow, however, she loves.

If it's hot, I'll walk her early morning or late evening. If it's cold, midday.
