Do you think pitbulls should be banned?

I don't think banning a breed of dog makes any sense at all. I think if they start taking away our right to own a certain breed of dog what will they take away next? The us is a free country and the fact that they are banning dogs does NOT sound free to me. What is next freedom of speech? womans right to vote? not to mention if you ban one breed of dog you might as well just start banning all dogs period. The bad guys will just move onto another "tough" looking large dog such as chows, malamutes, dobes, rotties, shepherds ect. The next thing you know they will ban poodles because they are to fluffy! rediculous way of thinking... I adore pits.

No, I don't think that ANY breed should ever be banned. It's complete BS, in my opinion. Ban the owner, please, before banning a dog.

Every animal has the potential to bite... cats, snakes, birds, etc. It's just ridiculous to ban certain breeds.

When I was little, I was rushed to the ER and had to have stitches because I was bit by a LAB on my lip.
