Oh I know know how capable they are, wich is why I do like them.
My boyfriend says he doesnt like poodles, im guessing cuz he thinks they're prissy dogs, im trying to talk him otherwise ;)
what i mean by floofy, is i like a nice clean short haired looking dog, its much easier to keep clean.
My bf would like a boxer or saluki, while i do LOVE boxers.. neither of those breeds are ones i think would be good for him..lol
I agree with the idea of getting your man around the particular dog and see how his allergies "behave." LOL. My BIL was so allergic to my Doberman (short, sleek, clean)...he'd have an asthma attack. But now they have a Sheltie. No problem with that dog at all. Go figure. lol. It's like it was said, it doesn't necessarily have to do with fur, but dander, saliva and who knows what all. If your bf thinks Poodles are prissy good for nothings, show him these. (I just grabbed something off Google...don't know anything first hand about the particular breeder)
