I think I've decided that Visa's pup's name will be Attra Dea's Moonlight Sonata "Rhythm" but I have to meet the pup first. I also still love Attra Dea's Run For Your Life "Panic."

I have two cat names picked out... if I ever have cats again. I want two crotchety old tomcats named Pierre Eugene du Semitiere and Jacques Louis David. Heh, that's what I get for being a graphic design major!

As for dogs, I've learned that coming up with names before getting the dog guarantees that every name on the list doesn't fit the dog at all!

P.S. - I really like the name Luka too. I like it so much that I have called Ronin "Luka" a few times, completely by accident. It was one of the names that I had considered for him. (Anything to get rid of his old name, Hugh!)

I've always liked the name "Austin" for an Australian Cattle Dog. It just goes good with the breed, and I will most likely own a male. :) My favorite name for a red female would be "Amber", it fits the coat color well, and it's just a cute name. :) Those are just 2 of my favroite ACD names, I made a whole list a while ago. :p :D

Well me being me.....

Tanian for a girl as in dog'tanian (d'artagnian) and the 3 musketeers! ;)

I love Alfie for a boy, but my cousin has just called her child Alfie so maybe not huh! Not sure she would be impressed if i named a dog after her child.

But seeing as i'm in a Russian theme at the mo, it would probably be Russian. :D

Hehehe RD- I love "Devo," for a whippet, partially because I've been adamant about naming MY future whippet the same thing. (Along with the other 15-16 breeds I'm interested in...God help me). It would be interesting to know just how many whippets out there go by Devo!

As for my next Shiba show prospect, I'm looking into getting a male, and he'll be called "Raiden." The registered name will be "San Jo Tempura Tantrum." (I obviously *really* like this play on words).

I love the name Nova, also. I was considering naming one of my Tollers that but since their full breed name has the word Nova in it, I decided against naming one of them Nova.
