I assume that the dog is still in the breeder's name? Can she be prosecuted for theft?

Thats a touchy one. The dog is still in the breeders name. It would depend on the contract. The breeder did give them the dog, so I dont think so.

Not sure.. I do know that one of the dogs is intact and she has used him to breed..the other male dog is fixed and the female has seizures. Another thing, when she first got the Dobe, she was going thru some rough times with the Boyfriend and she was contemplating moving and she was asking advice about starting up her own breeding kennel. People talked her out of it saying she should set it up for a rescue since thats what she was supposed to be all gung ho over anyway....Hmmmmmm

FINALLY! I got somebody with some brain matter to file a stolen dog report at the Austin PD! Now we can get him listed on the NCIC site thru the FBI!

No, I am the mother of the breeder/owner of Demon.

Seems that the person in Texas never cared enough to send in any paperwork on him so as of now DeDe is the only owner of Demon.
