Oh! That is so sad. I hope nothing bad happens to him. That he is shy with people, might make it hard for someone to rescue him, if seen. On the other hand, if he feels desparate, he may decide to go with some kind hearted person. I hope he is spotted and returned.

I have been following a topic on a Doberman forum. I knew the person who had Demon from a pet forum. This whole thing is terrible. Right now there is so much unknown, and so many different ideas...I can only hope where ever Demon is, he is safe, healthy, and happy.

Ditto here. I just hope the truth comes to light and that Demon's breeder can finally have closure - hopefully with Demon safe and sound.

It sounds really bizarre. There are no dates, when was he supposed to be picked up to show? If he has an ear that doesn't stand, and he is shy, why is he being shown?

The whole thing seems REALLY weird to me. I don't know any of the involved parties, but remember the person who had Demon vaguely from an APBT forum that I went to for a short time before I got disgusted. Out of curiosity, I looked up her posts on Demon. All of her photo threads have the default "deleted photo" thing from Photobucket.

Very, very odd.

Her photos were deleted right after people had been saying on the Doberman forum how the whole situation was dangerous by the pictures (They had seen photos from when he was first placed out in the yard with her 3 dogs)..by the looks of the pictures and her APBTs body language towards Demon.

That's scary. I wish that I could see the pictures.

From what I gathered, she seemed like a fairly well liked member of that APBT forum. It wasn't the worst of forums for the breed, but a bit on the dogfighter apologist side and rednecky.

I hope that the dog is ok, where ever he is. If he did die after an attack, I hope that he didn't suffer for long.

If I remember correctly the pup was going more in to the "working" end of things. And as for apbtmom76 removing the photos of the doberman, she supposedly started removing them because "her lawyer told her too" Riiiiggghhhht ( insert sarcasm here )

And actually on the forum she had been frequenting for the last month there were photos of her and her pits...but not ONE of the Doberman. If she has been taking photos of the other dogs, how come not of the doberman? And he just suddenly turns up missing when the owner/breeder has someone there to pick him up?? YES VERY VERY ODD

First off, that hated forum is not some dogfighter lovers paradise. You don't like it? Fine. But please refrain from calling all of us redneck criminals.

Second, the member was a member. Some knew her. The vast majority did not. (and some like me didn't bother to read any of her posts and couldn't be bothered) So again, please lay off assumptions that we all thought she was a god in the canine world. So far from it..............................

Wherever the dog is, I hope he's safe. If he's not alive, I hope he didn't suffer.

(and that other forum had nothing to do with her doberman so I'm not even sure why this thread became more of a forum-bashing thread than anything else)

Can you point out where I said ALL members were redneck criminals? Thanks!

I'd also love to know where I said that she was a god. Saying that somebody "seemed fairly well liked" isn't the same as calling somebody a god. This woman was a member of many APBT forums, so how do you even know which one I'm speaking of? The only one I remember interacting with you on was Pit Bull Talk, and that's a nice crowd of good people with their heads planted in reality.

There ARE a lot of boards out there that romanticize dogfighting, and go into discussions on hard mouth vs. wrestling ability or something dogfighting related, and then claim that it's "historical" discussion or relating to hog hunting, and then we all nudge and wink at each other. Or all the comments on the "bravery" of those who still match dogs? I suspect that most of the idiots on those boards are just wannabes and dogman fanboys. It is so fascinating to me that one can trash "puppy peddlers" on one hand, but if Tom Garner (and in the past Boudreaux/Patrick/Faron) averages a litter a month or more, it's A-OK because they are famous and got mentioned in a Stratton book. Half the posts on those boards make me hear Dueling Banjos in my head when I read the posts. Heck, Faron's website used to have Dueling Banjos embedded.

APBT forums became somewhat relevant because a good deal of the drama in this case is unfolding on APBT boards. Heck on one, the admin on the board seem to be fully taking her side and saying that there is proof that the dog was stolen.

So sad :(. I hope they find him. Years ago my brothers home was broken into and his 12 week old Puli puppy was stolen and never found. It was a horrible experience.

I never saw the word criminal used? And the member is more than welcome to share their opinion on that forum.

I also saw no claims that the forum was to blame or that you all treated her like she was godly.

Over sensitive much? You don't like the members comment on the forum? Fine take it to PM I guess.

Yeah, I really hate to say this, but one of the tips was that the dog was killed a month ago in a fight with one of the other house dogs. Since she never put up flyers or anything ...its like she knew that it wouldnt do any good. But then again, she may be hiding him. I really really doubt that he was taken out of the yard or got out on his own.

But one of the things that does irritate me even more, is the current forum she has been hanging out at, the mods deleted the public thread talking about him. Then so many of their members were calling them out on it, they threatened to start banning people for discussing it...but if people wanted to pay a higher fee ( up their membership ) then they could go into the mod threads and talk about it . UGH Trying to make a buck off this tragedy. And said they were privately in contact with her and they were backing her decisions etc etc. I just dont get it.

There is something fishy going on and instead of asking questions etc etc.. no body is allowed to talk about it and they seem to be protecting her.:yikes:

She is supposed to be big into BSL and taking care of the unfortunate animals...but I think this goes to show she cant even take care of her own and maybe she shouldnt be behind so much BSL type of things until she can get a handle on her own stuff

Demon was to be picked up by the breeder on the evening of July 16th and came up missing only hours before the scheduled pick up.

The breeder has had NO contact from the person that had Demon since the morning of July 17.

I haven't been following it, but putting a Doberman out in the yard with three APBTs -- talk about setting your dogs up for a huge FAIL. :(

Let's hope the dogs weren't left out there together, or that if they were, Demon bailed over the fence and got away.

People have seen pics she posted, and I guess the body language of the pits was not good. Acording to many people he was left out with them. I have seen posts on a Pit forum that her dogs were fighting. She broke it up and continued to let them loose together.

If that's the case, then Demon's only real chance was to escape somehow. :( "Irresponsible" doesn't even BEGIN to describe someone who would be so callously, negligently, stupid.

I agree completely now knowing the whole story. I hope he isn't dead. And if he did escape I hope he isn't found and returned to this home. :(

Sounds like her other dogs could use some looking at too.
