I have a foster puppy who desperately needs to gain weight. She wasn't eating for a while, but thanks to a suggestion in the other forum I tried baby food and she's eating that. I was so happy!
Anyway, my question. I was considering giving her some heavy cream by the syringe I use for her medicine to help her gain weight since she's really underweight and not feeling good due to kennel cough.
I don't know if this might hurt her digestion, so I thought it would be a good idea to ask here before I do anything. I don't want to constipate her or give her diarrhea. Right now her stools are solid and she's peeing regularly, so she's good there.
Will cream help her or hurt her?
