All four of my dogs think the phone ringing is just odd.... I don't have a house phone so if I'm outside playing with them and the phone rings or beeps they all jump back and act like something crazy is going on. Voices coming out of it are ok (they're ok with speakerphone) but if that other person is doing anything with noises, Ican't get near any of them. Four cocked heads and four extremely mobile dogs.
River kept freaking out about his reflection in glass on an apartment complex the other day. Never has happened before but he kept pausing like he was waiting for that other dog to just come running up when he wasn't looking so he had to WATCH it. Hysterical.
I watched a friend's boxer once who isn't phased by ANYTHING...... but she sure perked up her head and watched my laptop when I played a Michael Jackson video. I'd been watching videos on youtube all day and she didn't care until that video. Watched the whole thing, then put her head down and went back to sleep.
My dogs always do the head cock thing, completely bafoozaled by me talking to them through the back door. They line up like, "OH OH!! Mom's letting us in!!! I talk to them and I get four cocked heads. "Why isn't she opening the door?"
What's really funny though about when they cock their heads, the Australian Shepherds ALWAYS tilt at the sme time in the same direction and the Border Collies always tilt in the opposite direction. Aussies to the right, BC's to the left.
