We recently adopted two puppies-
they're papillion mixes (with what- I have NO clue), and they're about 16 weeks. We're working on house training. They had started crate-training at their foster home, and we're doing great with that! So- the question: We've been through more treats than I knew existed- meat? cheese? processed pork-chop looking treats? They do nothing for them. AT ALL. I got frustrated with my inability to satisfy them and opened a can of low-sodium sliced carrots. You'd have thought that I'd hung the moon. :lol-sign: They went nuts! I've been using them for a few days as potty treats, and to start encouraging them to use the doggy door. Neither one has had a reaction (yet), and they work. They're still small (about 5 lbs), and I smoosh a tiny bit of carrot and let them lick my fingers. Can you think of anything wrong with this?
*we adopted them both because we wanted them to have a playmate while we are at work- it's more work, but twice the love!*
Thanks in advance- you guys are great
