Granted it was almost 10 years ago, but as far as I remember there was no real "Canadian Geography". We studied Africa, South America, Europe, etc. I just don't remember Canada. Never really thought about it.
I don't remember who posted it, but not everyone thinks Canadians live in Igloos or ride sleds to work. IMO that's just stupid. Yes, there are some morons in the U.S. but I'm pretty sure there are some in Canada as well. You might not know any personally, but their out there. They always are.
I could see someone asking if you ride a sled and you live in Alaska, because there are some natives there that still do. But Canada, that's stupid.
It's been said before and it'll be said again. Each country has it's pluses and minuses. You can't judge another country by what a few ignorant people say. You have to see more of the country, more people, places, government issues, etc. What we are doing here, simply going back and forth about what WE think is good or bad, doesn't mean anything. It takes more than a few people on a forum to get an accurate, not so personal view of a country (or countries).
